Mass Effect 100% Roadmap: Every Mission, Location, and Checklist Order

Mass Effect’s mission-by-mission walkthrough is being organized into a full “100%” roadmap, with clear act structure and a checklist-driven order based on story flow and when unique dialogue opportunities show up. The plan is aimed at players who want to see every major objective through to completion, including mission worlds, assignments, and downloadable content.

Checklists

This part of the Mass Effect wiki guide lays out a Full Walkthrough Roadmap designed to help you complete every mission in the game for a full completion run. It also highlights how the main Mass Effect walkthrough breaks content into separate sections for main missions, side quests, and DLC, so you can jump in at any stage of the story.

For players who prefer a strict, step-by-step route to reach a perfect 100% outcome, the guide adds a “what to do next” box at the bottom of each page. The ordering of these next steps is influenced by multiple things, including where you are in the story and which moments create chances for distinct dialogue.

With that established, here’s the complete Full Walkthrough Roadmap for 100% Mass Effect 1.

Prologue

The game opens with you aboard the SSV Normandy SR-1 prototype, placed under Captain Anderson’s command. What starts as a routine shakedown run at the human colony of Eden Prime turns into something much bigger when a terrifying threat makes its move to get access to a discovery of major galactic importance.

Prologue Missions

The Citadel: Expose Saren

After surviving the vision left in their mind by the Prothean Beacon, Shepard learns that the person responsible for the Geth attack on Eden Prime is Saren Arterius—an active Spectre who holds seemingly unlimited resources and influence. Shepard travels to the Citadel in an attempt to persuade the Council of Saren’s guilt, and along the journey they recruit several new alien Squad Mates.

Expose Saren Missions

Citadel Assignment Cleanup

If Shepard hasn’t been keeping up with Assignments while working to expose Saren, then the Citadel is likely crowded with residents who need help and tasks waiting to be completed. Before moving on to pursue leads connected to the former Spectre, the guide suggests taking time to assist people across the galactic capital.

Find Liara T’Soni

One more lead Shepard receives from Udina ends up being especially valuable. Liara T’Soni, the daughter of Matriarch Benezia, has gone missing in the Artemis Tau Cluster. If Shepard can locate her and bring her back, they’ll gain a major ally for the fight against Saren Arterius.

Uncharted Worlds

Once Shepard’s squad is fully assembled, the galaxy opens up. With the M-35 Mako stored in the Cargo Bay, the Normandy is ready for exploring a range of worlds to strengthen your skills and reputation as humanity’s first Spectre—while also helping non-human crew members with their personal requests along the way.

Post-First Mission World

After finishing the first Mission World, Shepard and the rest of the party return to the Citadel, only to find it packed with even more Assignments to complete. The hub is also where a past figure linked to Shepard’s history returns, starting an exclusive quest connected to their time before joining the Systems Alliance.

Feros: Geth Attack

Another lead pointing toward Saren takes Shepard to the human colony of Zhu’s Hope. The settlement is built on Feros, a planet blanketed by the ruins of a massive Prothean city. Recently, reports about the geth have surfaced, and shortly after those sightings, the colony lost contact.

Noveria: Geth Interest

The third lead concerns Noveria. It’s cold in more ways than one, and it also sits outside Council jurisdiction—meaning it’s home to many stories involving illegal corporate research. Recently, the geth have been spotted in the area, which strongly suggests Saren could be nearby as well.

Virmire: Saren’s Plan

After Shepard follows through on two of the Saren leads, the Council reaches out with news about an STG team that sent an urgent message from Virmire while gathering intel on Saren. The guide frames it as a priority to investigate Virmire, see what that team uncovered, and determine whether Shepard can assist.

Race Against Time

Once Shepard has investigated all available leads, they learn that Saren is heading to Ilos to locate the Conduit. The Council’s protection is limited to preventing an immediate incursion by Saren, and as a result Shepard and the Normandy are grounded. The next step is to find a way to unlock the Normandy, stop Saren on Ilos, and keep the galaxy from falling apart.
