Crimson Moon Launch Trailer: Action Campaign Now Out on PS5, Xbox, and PC
ProbablyMonsters has released Crimson Moon for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, giving players a new action-heavy campaign set in a city overrun by demons, undead, vampires, and other abominations. The studio also announced a Deluxe Edition with extra gear and access to a future downloadable expansion.

What players can expect from Crimson Moon
Crimson Moon casts you as a “nephilim,” a hybrid of human and angel forged to push back hellish forces. The story centers on the fall of Gildenarch, a once-sacred city now corrupted by demonic presence and undead creatures. Humanity’s final hope is the Order of the Crimson Moon, and its most feared weapon is you.
Gameplay is built around brutal melee combat, supernatural powers, weapons, close-quarters fighting, and angelic transformations used to survive harsh missions and confront fallen gods. The campaign can be tackled solo or in cooperative mode.
Key gameplay systems highlighted by the studio
- Gory close-quarters combat focused on relentless, visceral encounters.
- Single-player or co-op for taking on the prophecy together.
- High-risk missions with ongoing rewards, with successful runs leading to new missions, modifiers, and skill-based achievements.

The Deluxe Edition includes the base game plus the ceremonial armor set, the “Machado dos deuses” (as listed), and a future content expansion currently in development.
Access to that downloadable expansion is part of the Deluxe package. The studio notes that the expansion’s content, resources, and release date have not yet been defined and may change, with more details promised closer to launch.
