Kuromi Boutique Quest Guide: How to Complete The Big Boutique Reveal
Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s Kuromi Boutique questline keeps expanding, and “The Big Boutique Reveal” is the next step players need to unlock the store in City Town. Functionally, this one is a scavenger-style errand: you’re asked to gather and photograph a set of oversized food items before the boutique opening can move forward. It also ties directly into the prior quests, making it feel like part of an ongoing local mystery rather than a standalone fetch job.
What “The Big Boutique Reveal” Unlocks (and When You Can Start)
“The Big Boutique Reveal” is the third quest required to open Kuromi’s Boutique in Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s City Town. It comes after “Cake-tastrophe” and “Boutique Blues”, and you can begin it once you’ve completed “Boutique Blues.”
- Quest goal: Find and photograph five large food items scattered around City Town.
- Progress trigger: You start the sequence by speaking with Usahana after talking to Kuromi.
- Camera mechanic: When you’re close enough to a target, a Camera icon appears to let you take the photo.
- Story payoff: After the photos, you help Kuromi get cheered up and you deliver a custom mirror task that concludes the quest.
Task Search: Finding Five Large Food Items
Talk to Kuromi, who can likely be found in City Town—and if she isn’t there, she’ll be in the Spooky Swamp. She’s ready to host the grand opening of her new Boutique, and most of the town has shown up to celebrate.
Speak to Usahana to kick things off. Before Kuromi can officially open the store, the sky darkens. Usahana explains that she suspects more large food has appeared around City Town, and she’s right.
Your job is to locate five pieces of large food scattered throughout City Town, then take a picture of each one with your Camera. As you approach each item, the game provides a Camera icon to confirm you’re in range.
Giant Pizza
The Giant Pizza is on the rooftop just south of Kuromi’s Boutique.
Giant Lemon
The Giant Lemon sits in the crescent-shaped patch of grass in the middle of the circular road, positioned to the right of Pekkle’s Music Shop.
Giant Ice Cream
The Giant Ice Cream is in the middle of the circular park on the right side of City Town, specifically north-east of where you found the Giant Lemon.
Giant Cake
The Giant Cake is in the bottom right of the same park where you located the Giant Ice Cream.
Giant Taco
The Giant Taco is to the right of the City Town Dock.
Giant Pizza Slice
The Giant Pizza Slice is to the left of Pekkle’s Music Shop. The quest includes a hint that it may have fallen from the Giant Pizza above.
Giant Strawberry
The Giant Strawberry is in the fountain to the left of the Imagination Cafe.

Giant Banana
The Giant Banana is just south of the Giant Strawberry, placed on top of a bench.

Giant Kebab
The Giant Kebab is on the bottom left edge of the park on the left side of City Town—a spot that matches the same park where you found the Giant Onigiri during “Boutique Blues.”

Giant Pastry
The Giant Pastry is on the top left edge of that same park, placed directly south of the rooftop Fast Travel Mailbox.

Giant Donut
The Giant Donut is wrapped around a palm tree just south of the Rainbow Tower.

Giant Chocolate Cake
The Giant Chocolate Cake is at the end of the alleyway on the left side of City Town, positioned next to the “Sky Scraping” Challenge Course.

Cheer Up Kuromi: What Happens After the Photos
After you’ve taken the five required pictures, head back to the Boutique and talk to Kuromi and Usahana. Usahana and the others leave to investigate the mystery, which leaves Kuromi alone.
Kuromi tells you she’s upset that the grand opening had to be delayed. She asks you to pick up a mirror she ordered from My Melody.
Talk to My Melody, who will most likely be in the park on the left side of City Town where you found the Giant Onigiri. My Melody explains that, to cheer up Kuromi, she created a larger custom mirror instead.
Then return to the Boutique and talk to Kuromi. Kuromi is thrilled to receive the custom mirror and is cheered up significantly. She goes off to hang out with My Melody, and the quest concludes with her determined to open the Boutique tomorrow.
