Cyberpunk 2077 Sandevistan Guide: Unlock the Edgerunners Cyberware

The Sandevistan is the distinctive Operating System cyberware that David Martinez relies on in the Netflix anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and it’s now something Cyberpunk 2077 players can actually unlock and use. The specific Sandevistan shown in the show was introduced alongside the Edgerunners update, packaged as a set of usable cyberware in the base game.

This Sandevistan guide walks through what you need to know to unlock the different versions, including where to find them, what they do, and how their stats compare. If you’re deciding what to run, it also covers which Sandevistan tends to come out on top and the best places to get each option.

Best Sandevistans and Sandevistan Locations

If you already have a target in mind, here are the individual Sandevistan versions covered in this guide:

  • Dynalar Sandevistan
  • QianT “Warp Dancer” Sandevistan
  • Zetatech Sandevistan
  • Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan
  • Militech “Falcon” Sandevistan

Dynalar Sandevistan

The Dynalar Sandevistan (18 Cyberware Capacity) is one of the three starter-friendly Sandevistans you can use in Cyberpunk 2077.

It’s also one of the more affordable higher-end choices: you can buy the Dynalar Sandevistan for 50,863 Eurodollars at Level 50 Street Cred, which is notably cheaper than the other high-tier Sandevistans you’ll eventually chase.

Once activated, the Dynalar Sandevistan cuts time flow by 50% for 9 seconds, with a 40-second cooldown. During that window, it also boosts both your critical hit chance and your critical damage by 15% each.

QianT “Warp Dancer” Sandevistan

The QianT “Warp Dancer” Sandevistan (14 Cyberware Capacity) used to be the top pick for time-slowing, but its current role is much less impressive. It’s now the weakest option for slowing time among the Sandevistans available in the game.

The upside is small, but real: you won’t have to hold back your punches with Fingers during The Space in Between.

With a 10-second duration and a 60-second cooldown, the QianT “Warp Dancer” Sandevistan focuses on defensive bonuses rather than offense. Because of that, it’s generally better to save your money for other Sandevistans you can obtain instead.

Zetatech Sandevistan

The Zetatech Sandevistan is the last of the three Sandevistans you can access at Level 20, and it’s geared toward players building for midair combat.

When it’s active, it slows time by 30%—but in midair, that time-slow ramps up to 60%. While you’re shooting in midair, your overall damage output increases by 24%, and you also gain a 40% bonus to both headshot and weakspot damage.

You can purchase the Zetatech Sandevistan for 50,863 Eurodollars from any Ripperdoc, though there’s also a free option tied to a specific gig: Prototype in the Scraper.

Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan – Best Sandevistan

The Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan is widely considered the best Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077, and it earns that reputation from both its baseline stats and how hard it hits once upgraded versions come into play.

  • Time is slowed by 85% for everyone except the user.
  • Headshot Damage Multiplier increases by 10%, rising to 15% at Tier 5++.
  • Crit Chance increases by 9%, which scales up to 14% at Tier 5+ and 15% at Tier 5++.
  • Crit Damage increases by 13%, scaling to 15% at Tier 5++.

If you manage to neutralize an enemy while the effect is running, you also gain additional benefits:

  • 20% extended duration
  • 22% Stamina

Beyond the standout numbers—from the base version through higher tiers—the Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan is also one of the closest matches to the Sandevistan David Martinez acquires in Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

You can even get it without paying, since the game allows a free acquisition during the Disasterpiece Main Job.

  • If you’re returning to an older save file, you can still claim one during Padre’s final Gig: Sr Ladrillo’s Private Collection.

Militech “Falcon” Sandevistan

The Militech “Falcon” Sandevistan ranks just behind the “Apogee” in overall value. Before the game’s 2.0 changes, it was one of the two most commonly used Sandevistans.

That said, with lower base bonuses compared to the Apogee, there’s usually little reason to choose it unless you specifically want more survivability when you activate your Operating System.

  • Time is slowed by 70% for everyone except the user.
  • Damage increases by 10%.
  • Crit Chance increases by 10%.
  • Crit Damage increases by 5%.
  • 20% extended duration
  • 5% Health
