Crimson Desert Sanctum of Transcendence Guide: Abyss Island Treasure Chests
Crimson Desert’s Abyss Island puzzle “Sanctum of Transcendence” is one of the simpler challenges in the Sanctum of Transcendence suite—expect more time tracking down the hidden treasure chests than wrestling with the mechanics. Below is a step-by-step walkthrough, including the exact abilities to use and where to find the rewards.
Checklists
The Sanctum of Transcendence is among the most straightforward Abyss Island puzzles in Crimson Desert. You’ll likely spend longer locating the secret treasure chests than actually solving the core challenge. There’s one ability you’ll need to complete the Sanctum, but after that, the rest is relatively easy.
Sanctum of Transcendence Solution
- Axiom Force: Hold left stick / L3 / Tab to aim, then release to use
- Aerial Force Palm: Press Square / X / space bar, then right stick / R3 / middle mouse
- Force Palm: Press right stick / R3 / middle mouse
- Focus Force Palm: Press left and right stick / L3 + R3 / X, then use right stick / R3 / middle mouse
- Flight: While in the air, press space bar / Square / X
- Aerial Maneuver: Hold left stick / L3 / Tab to aim, release to use, then press Space / X / Square twice
Right after you reach the Sanctum of Transcendence, you’ll run into a wall charged with bismuth. To pass it, keep using Focus Force Punch until the entire world shifts blue and a leaf drifts away from you.
Your goal is to guide that leaf into the sphere concealed within the wall—this is triggered when the sphere flashes bright yellow.
As soon as you spot the yellow glow, follow up with Force Palm to make the wall break apart. Then store the Abyss Cell in your Kuku Pot and move inside.
Inside the hall, you’ll find two more bismuth-charged walls, one to the south and one to the north. Start with the southern wall and dismantle it using Focus Force Palm.
After storing the Abyss Cell, use Axiom Force to pick up the blue CPU and relocate it to the socket nearby. Once the CPU turns green, hover over it and use an Aerial Force Palm to position it in place.
With that done, clear the northern wall the same way as the previous two. Then activate the blue panel that was concealed behind it to finish the main portion of the Sanctum of Transcendence puzzle.
Sanctum of Transcendence Treasure Chests
With the puzzle complete, it’s time to hunt the treasure. Leave back out the way you came in, then jump off between the primary platform and the one that holds the Abyss Nexus. While you float down, look west toward the rocks hanging from the platform above you.
Eventually, you’ll spot artificial structures protruding from the stalactites, and you’ll also see the glow of a blue teleporter. The treasure chest sits in front of that teleporter. Inside are a Faded Abyss Artifact and the Flameward III Abyss Gear.
Use the teleporter to return to the upper platforms, then head back toward the Sanctum entrance.
Instead of going inside again, turn south and look over the edge. You should quickly see another treasure chest sitting on a small lower ledge. That chest contains the Ascent III Abyss Gear along with a Faded Abyss Artifact.
