Black Ops 2 Zombies Tranzit: How to Build and Get the Jet Gun

The Jet Gun is often remembered as one of the shakier wonder weapons in Black Ops 2 Zombies—but there’s still something satisfying about hunting it down and assembling it. Even if it’s not exactly top-tier, it can be used “well enough” in Tranzit, and if you’re working through everything for nostalgia or just want to see how it performs, this is where you’ll get the information you need: all Jet Gun part locations in Black Ops 2 Zombies.

On top of that, Richtofen’s Tower of Babble Tranzit easter egg requires the Jet Gun plus EMP Grenades, so having the exact build steps matters.

After you’ve collected a Jet Gun piece, head back to Town and enter the left building where Stamin-Up is located. That’s where you can start putting the weapon together.

Jet Gun part locations in Tranzit

Jet Engine Locations

The Jet Engine is located in the Tunnel—the foggy stretch running from the Bus Depot to the Diner.

  • Spawn #1: on the right side, near the M16 wall-buy.
  • Spawn #2: on the left, tucked away in a corner by the locked garage door.
  • Spawn #3: in the middle area between the other two spots, next to the blue car.

Handle Locations

The Handle can be found in Nacht der Untoten. It’s in the cornfield on the right, situated between the Farm and the Power Station.

  • On the back right wall by the destroyed shelf.
  • On the stairs.
  • Near the lantern and cabinet.

Wires Locations

The Wires are in the Power Station, but you’ll need to turn on the power first.

  • Spawn #1: on top of the destroyed electrical box, which you reach by dropping down from the railing.
  • Spawn #2: to the right, on a ledge close to the lava pit.
  • Spawn #3: on top of a barrel, after the catwalk and to the right.

Pressure Gauge Locations

The Pressure Gauge sits in the Hunter’s Cabin, the fog area on the right between the Power Station and Town.

  • Spawn #1: directly in front of the fireplace.
  • Spawn #2: on a set of items near the wooden barrel.
  • Spawn #3: on the metal bed frame.

So, is it worth it? Honestly, the Jet Gun is not worth using. Sure, it’s required for the Richtofen easter egg in Tranzit, but as an actual weapon it falls short—both in damage and firing speed. Even worse, if you let the pressure build too far and the gauge hits the red zone (by holding the trigger too long), the gun will explode. When that happens, you’ll have to collect the scattered pieces and build it again.
