Minecraft Dungeons II Trailer Unveils the New Sift Dimension Gameplay

Mojang has revealed a new look at Minecraft Dungeons II, sharing fresh gameplay footage that focuses on what lies beyond the Overworld. The studio has been teasing strange rifts and unanswered mysteries since the game’s announcement earlier this year, and this latest trailer finally introduces a brand-new dimension called the Sift.

In this next action adventure, players will be trading in their pickaxe and drawing an sword as they push into unexplored regions and unfamiliar locations. The objective is to stop a new wave of evil from causing chaos across two worlds, with the Sift serving as the key setting for the story’s next chapter.

As with previous entries in the series, the combat is built around taking on waves of enemies. The trailer also confirms you can tackle the campaign solo, or team up with others—up to four players—either through local co-op or online multiplayer.

Minecraft Dungeons II is scheduled to launch on September 29, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC.
