Jujutsu Kaisen: Best Non-Domain One-Shot Attacks, Ranked
In Jujutsu Kaisen, the most overwhelming strikes are usually Domain Expansions—moves that don’t just land, they “lock in” the outcome by confirming the hit through the user’s Cursed Technique. That’s a big part of why they feel so oppressive compared to standard techniques. But the series also has a handful of non-Domain attacks that sit dangerously close to that same level of threat, meaning a single clean connection can potentially end a fight instantly.
Below are the strongest one-hit, non-Domain options that can end an exchange with overwhelming force—attacks that don’t rely on a Domain to guarantee disaster. And even with these monsters on the list, nothing truly competes with what the top sorcerers from each era can do when they break out their absolute best.
7 Jogo’s Maximum Meteor Can Wreck an Entire City Block
Cursed Technique: Disaster Flames
Jogo is often treated as unlucky because the only times he goes all-in are against Gojo and Sukuna—two of the most dominant figures in the setting. Still, that reputation shouldn’t distract from the simple fact that Jogo is the most offensively dangerous of the Disaster Curses.
With his Maximum Technique, Jogo gathers massive quantities of flames and debris to form a meteor. It’s described as large and forceful enough to tear through an entire city block. Even Sukuna acknowledged that if it had landed on him, he might not have survived—an explicit nod that Maximum Meteor qualifies as one of the series’ most devastating one-shot attacks.
6 Sukuna’s Divine Flames Function Like a Thermobaric Bomb
Cursed Technique: Shrine
As the strongest sorcerer in history, Sukuna’s technique lineup is broad and intimidating. Among his most recognizable tools are the Divine Flames—an application of the Shrine Cursed Technique that can only be used after he’s already executed Cleave and Dismantle.
In practice, Sukuna’s Cursed Energy manifests as flames that burn even hotter than Jogo’s. Jogo’s fire is already a Special Grade threat built around fire manipulation, but the Divine Flames are positioned as beyond that. The sheer destructive level was enough to kill Jogo, Mahoraga twice, and even Choso—showing just how far the King of Curses’ power reaches.

5 Gojo’s Hollow Purple Is the Ultimate Use of Limitless
Cursed Technique: Limitless
Gojo was the strongest sorcerer of the modern era, and the show consistently highlights how precisely he can control and shape Cursed Energy. One of the clearest demonstrations of his mastery over Limitless comes when he calls out the Gojo Clan’s secret technique: Hollow Purple.
Hollow Purple is built by combining the infinite attractive force associated with Lapse Blue with the infinite repulsive force associated with Reversal Red. That merge creates a sort of “virtual mass” that can theoretically act like both effects at once—then shred whatever it targets when it’s unleashed. The Hollow Purple Gojo used against Sukuna first overpowered his Divine Flames, and in the final stretch of their fight, it pushed Sukuna close to death, almost eliminating him entirely.
4 Dabura’s Lightspeed Kick Tore Through Part of the City
Cursed Technique: (…) and Light
Mahoraga is feared in Jujutsu Kaisen partly because fans call it the “Gatekeeper of the Calamity Grade.” That label reflects the idea that only the four strongest characters in the series can defeat it. One of those heavy hitters is Dabura Karaba, who may have the strongest Cursed Technique among the group.
Because Dabura can manipulate light and move at near-light speeds, he’s positioned as the fastest character in the series. His destructive ceiling is showcased when he unleashes his Lightspeed Kick against Mahoraga. The attack causes massive destruction; even though it doesn’t fully kill the Shikigami, its level of power is still portrayed as its own category.
Sometimes, the most dangerous sorcerers are forged by their Cursed Techniques—so let’s look at the strongest option from each era.
3 Yorozu’s True Sphere Carried Infinite Pressure
Cursed Technique: Construction
Early on, fans learned about the Construction Cursed Technique through Mai. Her comparatively low Cursed Energy made it feel ineffective at first. Later, the Culling Game Arc introduces Yorozu, a Heian Era sorcerer with vast Cursed Energy reserves, allowing her to wield Construction at full, refined effectiveness.
That’s how she builds the True Sphere: a perfectly smooth orb that applies infinite pressure. The end result is an object that can erase anything it comes into contact with. Even with Sukuna’s dominance during the Culling Game Arc, he still recognized how dangerous the True Sphere is—stating that a single touch could kill him. Without Mahoraga adapting to the technique, Sukuna may have faced an earlier defeat.
2 Yuki’s Black Hole Had the Potential to Destroy the Earth
Cursed Technique: Star Rage
Yuki Tsukumo is one of the four officially recognized Special Grade sorcerers, which places her among the strongest characters in all of Jujutsu Kaisen. Her Cursed Technique, Star Rage, lets her manipulate mass, making her the hardest hitter in the series—so strong that her strikes are presented as even beyond what Gojo and Sukuna can put out.
By adding virtual mass to herself, Yuki can theoretically scale this effect without limit. The implication is that her body could become a Black Hole. And as expected, an uncontrolled Black Hole could potentially wipe out the planet—or even the Solar System—if she couldn’t keep it in check. The reason Kenjaku survived their encounter is tied directly to Yuki’s willpower, which prevented the Black Hole from expanding into something uncontrollable.
Sukuna is one of Jujutsu Kaisen’s most dangerous villains, but with the right user, these exceptional innate techniques could theoretically stand toe-to-toe with him.
1 Sukuna’s World-Cutting Slash Is an Unfair Cheat Code
Plenty of fans take issue with World-Cutting Slash being labeled the series’ strongest attack. They argue that techniques like True Sphere or Black Hole are more powerful or more destructive. That argument isn’t dismissed—those moves are absolutely terrifying. However, Sukuna’s top attack comes with a final “hack” that virtually guarantees victory no matter what it’s aimed at.
The reason is that World-Cutting Slash targets the concept of space itself. With that target, standard defensive methods become irrelevant. In theory, if Sukuna used it against True Sphere or a Black Hole, it wouldn’t just overwhelm the attack—it would destroy them outright by cutting through the space those threats occupy. In other words, this slash functions as the ultimate deterrent in any situation, and it’s difficult for any other attack to properly stand against it.
Jujutsu Kaisen can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
