Gigabyte Announces New AM4 B450M D3HP and D3HP WiFi6E Boards for 2026

Gigabyte is continuing to support AMD’s aging AM4 platform with brand-new B450 boards, announcing two fresh Micro-ATX models—B450M D3HP and B450M D3HP WIFI6E—positioned as true new releases rather than revisions. The move arrives years after the B450 chipset was originally announced, bringing updated convenience features to an older chipset design.

Two new AM4 B450 boards land: D3HP and D3HP WIFI6E

After recently introducing new B550 motherboards for AM4, Gigabyte is now also listing two new B450 options on its website. The company names them:

  • Gigabyte B450M D3HP
  • Gigabyte B450M D3HP WIFI6E

Gigabyte’s listings suggest these are fully new boards, with the B450 chipset first announced by AMD back in 2018—meaning the market timing is roughly eight years after that initial announcement.

Core specs: Micro-ATX layout, VRM, memory, and storage

Both boards share a largely similar foundation built around Micro-ATX and a digital 4+2-phase VRM design, paired with the same memory and expansion/storage layout.

  • Form factor: Micro-ATX
  • VRM: digital 4+2 phases
  • Memory: four DDR4 DIMM slots
  • CPU support (official): Ryzen 3000, Ryzen 4000, and Ryzen 5000 processors
  • M.2 / NVMe: two M.2 slots
    • CPU-connected slot: PCIe 3.0 x4
    • Chipset-connected slot: PCIe 2.0 x2
  • SATA: four SATA 6 Gb/s ports

What’s different: modern extras on D3HP, Wi‑Fi 6E on the WIFI6E model

Even with the older B450 PCH, Gigabyte says the D3HP model includes features that are typically seen on more recent Gigabyte boards.

  • BIOS update: Q-Flash Plus
  • Front I/O: one USB-C port rated at 5 Gbit/s
  • Fan control: Smart Fan 6
  • RGB: three addressable RGB connectors
  • Video outputs: one DisplayPort 1.2 plus two HDMI 2.0b ports
  • Networking: Realtek Gigabit Ethernet

The Wi‑Fi variant uses the same base platform, but swaps in wireless networking based on Wi‑Fi 6E.

  • Networking upgrade: adds Wi‑Fi 6E
  • Stated wireless speeds: up to 2.4 Gbit/s
  • Band support: includes the 6 GHz band

Pricing and availability not yet published

Gigabyte has not announced pricing or detailed availability for either B450M D3HP model. At the time of the report, neither board appears to be listed in PC parts price comparisons, indicating the market rollout details are still pending.
