Deltarune Chapter 5 Flower Castle Platform Puzzle Solution for Pink Coin

The Flower Castle area in Deltarune Chapter 5 is packed with environmental puzzles, and one of the biggest goals for many players is tracking down every Pink Coin. As you explore the castle, you’ll run into rooms where the layout looks tricky at first—especially when translucent panels hide how the pieces truly connect.

One standout challenge is the mysterious platform puzzle. At a glance, the movable blocks can feel confusing because they appear to sit behind translucent screens, making the room’s overall flow harder to read. If you’re getting stuck and just want a reliable route through the Flower Castle Platform Puzzle rooms, this guide walks through how each one works and where the Pink Coins are waiting.

This walkthrough is designed to help you locate every item, clear every boss, and solve every puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 5.

How Deltarune Flower Castle Platform Puzzles Work

Unlike most puzzles in Chapter 5, this challenge blends block arranging with a perspective shift. The game essentially asks you to build the right path first, then “unlock” the correct view so you can traverse it.

Outside of side-scrolling mode, you can freely rearrange the available blocks on the puzzle board. When the blocks are set, activating the nearby statue switches the room into a 2D platforming section.

There’s also a movement limitation to keep in mind: Kris can’t clear extremely high jumps. That means the stack needs to be deliberate—place platforms so each jump stays within reach.

Translucent panels can further throw you off by making blocks seem like they don’t connect, when they actually do line up properly from the side view. To avoid getting tricked by the overhead look, it helps to solve the puzzle with vertical spacing in mind rather than only studying the top-down arrangement.

Where to Find the Flower Castle Platform Puzzle #1

The first Platform Puzzle shows up after you reach the Castle area during the back half of Chapter 5. Start at the Castle Foyer, then head east. Keep going past the Cafe and through a couple more rooms until you reach the easternmost chamber.

Inside, you’ll find a puzzling setup with movable blocks tucked behind white translucent panels. A nearby statue also plays a key role, since it changes the perspective into the side-scrolling platform view you’ll need to complete the traversal.

Platform Puzzle #1 Solution

Platform Puzzle #1 is straightforward compared to the second room because it only uses two movable blocks. That reduced number of pieces makes it easier to test your placement and correct mistakes quickly.

Move the long block slightly to the right (as shown in the picture) so it gives you a better way up. Then place the remaining vertical block near the upper-right section to create the final platform you’ll need to cross the gap.

Once the blocks are positioned correctly, activate the nearby statue to enter side-scrolling mode.

From there, climb up the structure until you reach the western ledge. Work across the platforms, then make the last jump toward the eastern side of the room.

Your reward is a Pink Coin sitting at the top.

Where to Find the Flower Castle Platform Puzzle #2

The second puzzle is tucked deeper into Flower Castle. After finishing the first Platform Puzzle, continue forward through the castle until you reach the area beyond the orange door. Keep moving until you arrive at a room that has another perspective-changing statue and a spinning blade hazard.

Activate the statue as soon as you enter the room immediately to the left. Inside is the second Platform Puzzle, and this one adds new mechanics involving both Ralsei and Susie.

Platform Puzzle #2 Solution

Start by arranging the movable blocks before switching perspectives. Place the smaller block on the right side so it works as an intermediate platform. Meanwhile, set the larger block in the upper-right area so it covers the right half of the upper screen and stretches across the top portion.

After the blocks are properly placed, activate the statue to begin the platforming sequence. Jump onto the first platform and use Ralsei’s ability to pull down the nearby screen—this changes which platforms are active.

Once Ralsei’s power has pulled the screen down, you’ll be able to climb upward with far less trouble.

Finish by climbing the remaining platforms to grab another Pink Coin.

Because Chapter 5 contains a limited supply of Pink Coins, missing either platform puzzle can cost you currency you’ll want later. Those Pink Coins can be spent on Chapter 5’s secret weapons and armor, and you also need 10 Pink Coins to unlock Chapter 5’s secret boss.

FAQ

Can you return to the Flower Castle Platform Puzzle later?

Yes. Once you unlock the area’s fast travel doors, you can revisit both Platform Puzzle rooms at any time before finishing Chapter 5. That makes it much easier to clean up any Pink Coins you missed on your first pass.

How many Pink Coins are in Chapter 5?

There are 19 Pink Coins in total hidden throughout Chapter 5.

Why can’t I reach the top platform?

The most frequent cause is incorrect block placement. Since Kris can only jump a limited height, even a small positioning mistake can leave the top platform just out of reach. Double-check your block layout carefully before activating the statue.
