Kadokawa Confirms Medalist Movie Sequel Release Date for February 19
Kadokawa has released a new promotional visual and trailer for the upcoming Medalist movie, confirming that the sequel will arrive in theaters on February 19.

The film adapts the Medalist anime property based on Tsurumaikada’s manga. Kadokawa says the story is set after the anime’s second season, picking up from where the show left off.

The next chapter centers on Tsukasa, a young skater whose ambitions were derailed early, and Inori, a girl who struggles with everyone doubting her. Despite the obstacles in their way, both characters pursue a shared dream: becoming world-class figures in professional skating.
Kadokawa also confirmed that the cast and staff from the anime are returning to work on the movie.
Where to watch and read before the film
For viewers catching up ahead of the premiere, the first two seasons are available on Disney+. The manga is also ongoing in Japan and is currently at volume 22, with the series available in Italy through J-Pop.
