Big Xbox highlights: campaigns, remasters, and major franchises
The Coalition used the showcase to double down on Gears of War: E-Day, unveiling a new campaign trailer centered on Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago during the Day of the Emergence. The game is scheduled for 8 October 2026, and it will be available via Xbox Game Pass.
CD Projekt also returned to the spotlight with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, targeting 29 September 2026. The remaster is positioned around upgraded visuals, refreshed combat and movement, and changes to the skills system. Owners of the current version will receive it as a free update.
Metro fans got their next look at Metro 2039 through a new gameplay trailer, with the game landing in February 2027.
New dates and major announcements across the rest of the lineup

Grinding Gear Games confirmed that Path of Exile 2 will make the full leap into free-to-play on 11 December 2026. Ubisoft and other publishers also used the stage to lock in more calendar entries, including Transport Fever 3 on 29 September 2026 and Stage Tour on 10 December 2026.
