EA SPORTS FC 27 Announces Team of 2027: Idols Featuring Agüero and Sinclair

EA SPORTS has unveiled its next batch of football legends for EA SPORTS FC 27, announcing the “Team of 2027: Idols” promotion that will feature iconic players spanning multiple eras and career-defining moments.

The new Team of 2027 includes Sergio Agüero, Christine Sinclair and Pepe, alongside Lúcio and Yaya Touré, with the latter two moving into the Idols category after their earlier roles as EA SPORTS FC “Hero/Heroina” items.

Along with those headline names, the promotion also brings a wider list of returning and newly recognized legends that will be available in Ultimate Team.

Pre-order bonus for Ultimate Team

Players who reserve EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition by 31 August will receive one of the 18 new Idols from the Team of 2027, or one of the returning legends, in the form of an untradeable International Idols 85+ Player Item for Football Ultimate Team.

Release date and platforms

EA SPORTS FC 27 is scheduled to launch on 25 September for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The more expensive editions provide early access starting 18 September.
