Disney Dreamlight Valley Chapter 6 Guide: Eeyore’s New Place in Action
In the last two Quests through Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Honeyglow Woods—“Chapter 4: A Tail Tale” and “Chapter 5: The Big Red Monster”—you helped Eeyore put the river back in working order in the Gloommeadow, located his missing tail, and fought what turned out to be a surprisingly cozy culprit: a set of comfy pajamas. Now it’s time for “Chapter 6: A Place for Eeyore”, where the next problem is much more immediate: Eeyore’s House appears to have collapsed.
Checklists
This chapter focuses on restoring Eeyore’s home so he can settle back in. You’ll first clear the debris blocking the area, upgrade the tool needed to do it, repair the House with specific materials, and then add decorations so his friends have an easier time visiting.
Task Search
Start by locating Eeyore in the Gloommeadow. He roams the biome and is most often found near the top-left portion—an area you’ll recognize from when you originally met him during “A Tail Tale.” Once you find him, you’ll learn that his fallen House is surrounded by Amber Brushwoods, and you can’t remove them until your Royal Pickaxe is upgraded.
Quick facts
- Quest: “Chapter 6: A Place for Eeyore”
- Goal 1: Upgrade Royal Pickaxe to clear Amber Brushwoods
- Goal 2: Remove eight Amber Brushwoods pieces in the top left corner of the Gloommeadow
- Goal 3: Repair Eeyore’s House using crafting materials in available slots
- Goal 4: Craft and place decorations (lanterns and paths), then finish with a photo
Make an Amber Brushwoods Upgrade
Before you can tackle the brushwood pile, you need to upgrade your pickaxe. Talk to Eeyore as you pass through the Gloommeadow, then notice the obstruction: Amber Brushwoods are surrounding where the House used to be.
To build the Amber Brushwoods Upgrade for your Royal Pickaxe, gather the following items:
- Acorn Snail x 2 — fished from white or blue ripples anywhere in Honeyglow Woods
- Honey Agate x 1 — mined from Rock Spots anywhere in Honeyglow Woods
- Juniper Berry x 4 — picked from bushes in the Gloommeadow
After you’ve collected everything, craft the Amber Brushwoods Upgrade at any Crafting Station. Convenient options include the station next to your house in Drowsybloom Acre, and another located along the right wall of the Gloommeadow.
Remove the Amber Brushwoods
Once the upgrade is ready, open your Inventory and use the Amber Brushwoods Upgrade. Then travel to the top left corner of the Gloommeadow, the same spot where you first encountered Eeyore during “A Tail Tale.”
With your Royal Pickaxe empowered, remove eight pieces of Amber Brushwoods. These are the yellow, resin-filled debris chunks encircling the remains of Eeyore’s House.
Each piece you clear drops Tree Resin, which is a valuable crafting material you’ll need for multiple Honeyglow Woods Quests—so be sure to collect it as you go.
Repair Eeyore’s House
With the area cleared, talk to Eeyore and see whether he has any ideas about his rebuilt House. In classic Eeyore style, he tells you he wants it to look exactly like it did before.
Next, gather the materials needed to repair it:
- Driftwood x 10 — fished from open water outside ripples anywhere in Honeyglow Woods; also dropped when removing Twistroots
- Oak Leaves x 3 — picked up from the ground near trees in any area of Honeyglow Woods
- Soft Limestone x 12 — mined from Rock Spots anywhere in Honeyglow Woods
- Tree Resin x 5 — dug up anywhere in Honeyglow Woods; dropped when removing Amber Brushwoods
After you have the full set, interact with Eeyore’s House and put the materials into the available slots. This is the moment the House gets restored for him.
Craft Decorations For Eeyore’s House
Now that the House is repaired, talk to Eeyore again. He’s pleased with the result, but he can’t think of anything else he might want—so you decide to add a gift to celebrate the rebuild.
Your next move is to talk to Pooh. Pooh usually hangs around near his own House, in his Thoughtful Spot, or by the large honey tree in Drowsybloom Acre.
Pooh’s suggestion is to make lanterns and paths so Eeyore’s friends can visit more easily. To craft them, gather:
- Acorn Snail x 2 — fished from blue or white ripples in all areas of Honeyglow Woods
- Driftwood x 4 — fished from open water outside ripples in Honeyglow Woods; dropped when removing Twistroots
- Golden Honey x 6 — harvested from the Busy Bees’ House in Drowsybloom Acre
- Honey Agate x 4 — mined from Rock Spots in all areas of Honeyglow Woods
Once you’ve gathered everything, head to any Crafting Station—for example, the one near your house in Drowsybloom Acre or the one positioned halfway up the right edge of the Gloommeadow. Then craft the following:
- Acorn Lantern x 2
- Driftwood Path OR Driftwood Path (Corner) x 16 — the path pieces are crafted in groups of 4, and you can mix and match types as long as your total comes to 16
With the items ready, use Furniture Mode to place the Lanterns and Path pieces near Eeyore’s House. Afterward, talk to Eeyore to see what he thinks. He may not fully understand the point, but he does appreciate having visitors and thanks you for the effort.
Finish the chapter
After the decorations are placed, take a picture of Pooh and Eeyore outside Eeyore’s House. Eeyore will automatically move to stand in front of his House, but Pooh won’t—so you may need to reposition Pooh manually before snapping the photo.
Completing this photo step both concludes the Quest and officially unlocks Eeyore as a Villager. From here, you can hang out with him, give gifts, and build your friendship.
Before you wrap up completely, talk to Eeyore one last time. He rewards you with a box of Charcoal Pencils, and you should hold onto them because you’ll need them for the next Quest.
