Top Goku Fusion Forms, Ranked: The Strongest Multiverse Transformations
Goku stands as one of the defining martial artists in Dragon Ball history. In his own right, he’s cemented himself as one of the strongest Saiyans across the multiverse and a master of Ultra Instinct—so much so that he may one day catch up to, or even surpass, the Angels. He’s driven to grow through personal effort and self-earned improvement, but when the situation demands it, he’s willing to set his pride aside and fuse with others.
In the main Dragon Ball timeline, Goku’s most common Fusion partner is Vegeta. After all, not many characters besides Vegeta have the raw strength needed to match up with him. The multiverse tells a different story, though: across video games like Dragon Ball Fusions and other side projects, Goku has merged into a range of jaw-dropping fighters—some powerful enough to rival the kind of output associated with Gogeta and Vegito.
Yamoshi is a God-tier fighter, but the strongest Saiyans in Dragon Ball Super are still far beyond the power of the original Legendary Super Saiyan.
10 Gorillin
Kid Goku & Krillin
In Dragon Ball Fusions, Bulma introduces a brand-new way to combine fighters: EX-Fusion. By equipping a Metamo-Ring and performing the Fusion Dance, two warriors can merge even if their Power Levels wouldn’t normally allow it. EX-Fusion produces a weaker result than either the classic Fusion Dance outcome or Potara Earrings, but it has one major advantage—no time limit.
When Krillin and Kid Goku EX-Fuse, they become Gorillin.
Gorillin is an A Rank fighter, placing him at a similar level to Omega Shenron from the end of Dragon Ball GT. That jump in strength is wildly out of proportion for Kid Goku, who is weaker than every villain after Demon King Piccolo—making Gorillin one of the most shocking “tier skips” in the game’s Fusion system. Gorillin also has a tail, hinting he could become a Great Ape. One interesting twist is that because Krillin’s an adult in the fusion result, Gorillin is among the rare Goku fusions where Goku isn’t the one contributing the most power.
9 Kuhan
Kid Goku & Gohan
Kuhan—also referred to as Coohan—is created when Kid Goku and Teen Gohan from the Cell Games Saga perform EX-Fusion to combine. Kuhan can’t transform into Super Saiyan, but it doesn’t matter because of how high his base Power Level is.
Even though Kuhan is a fusion of Kid Goku and Gohan, he still benefits from a major synergy boost tied to the father-and-son connection between Goku and his child.
It may sound almost unbelievable, but Dragon Ball Fusions places Kuhan in the G-Rank category. That puts him in God-tier territory, comparable to Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta from Dragon Ball GT. Like Gorillin, Kuhan still has a Saiyan tail thanks to Kid Goku’s contribution, but he never actually transforms into a Great Ape.
8 Barlot
Goku & Bardock
Barlot is another EX-Fusion from Dragon Ball Fusions, this time pairing Goku with his father Bardock from the Dragon Ball Z era. Despite using the same father-son synergy concept as the Kid Goku/Teen Gohan fusion, Barlot lands at S Rank. That means he’s stronger than Gorillin, but weaker than Kuhan—even though he shares the same kind of bond boost.
Barlot is strong, but not “God level.”
Practically speaking, Barlot is limited by how weak Bardock is in his base form. DBZ Bardock is listed with a Power Level of 10,000 at the moment of his death, leaving Goku with comparatively little to work with. Barlot does have a tail, but he can’t turn Super Saiyan as well—likely because Bardock’s lower power drags the fusion’s ceiling down. Even so, Barlot still brings real strength to the table; he’s just not the best match for Goku compared to other fusion partners.
Dragon Ball Super 2 will eventually settle who’s the most powerful Saiyan between Goku and Vegeta.
7 Sushinku
Goku & Nuova Shenron
Sushinku, also known as Nuova Goku, is one of the more interesting fusions in the Dragon Ball franchise. As the name suggests, Nuova Goku comes from Goku EX-Fusing with Nuova Shenron — one of the seven Shadow Dragons introduced near the end of Dragon Ball GT. This makes Sushinku a G-Rank fighter, scaling him to the strongest characters associated with the end of the Goku Black Saga.
Nuova Goku uses Nuova Shenron’s body while keeping Goku’s head, essentially creating what it might look like if Goku became a Shadow Dragon. Functionally, Sushinku leans far more toward being an Eternal Dragon than a Saiyan—but he still carries the full power expected from the multiverse’s strongest Saiyans.
6 Fused Zamasu
Goku Black & Zamasu
In an alternate Dragon Ball Super timeline, Zamasu uses the Super Dragon Balls to swap bodies with Goku. After that, he uses Time Rings to terrorize Future Trunks in that timeline, kicking off the events that define the Goku Black Saga. Goku Black is portrayed as an evil version of Goku and serves as the arc’s primary villain—until Zamasu fully takes over the direction of the story.
During the final battle, Goku Black and Zamasu fuse using the Potara Earrings to become Fused Zamasu. Beyond immortality, Fused Zamasu stands as one of the most powerful characters across the multiverse. He’s strong enough to keep going even while fighting Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, and he also outclasses Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta in the Dragon Ball Super anime.
5 God Fusion Goku
Goku & The Audience at the Super Tenkaichi Budokai
Dragon Ball Z: The Real 4-D at Super Tenkaichi Budokai is a non-canon theme-park attraction at Universal Studios Japan focused on a clash between God Broly and the Z-Fighters. God Broly is a version of Dragon Ball Z Broly who somehow ends up inside the Dragon Ball Super timeline. Once Broly becomes too much for Goku and Vegeta to manage, Goku performs a strange fusion—combining with the literal audience present.
Using the God Fusion Dance, Goku and the entire audience fuse together into God Fusion Goku. Very little is known about God Fusion Goku beyond two key facts: he can use Super Saiyan Blue, and he’s far stronger than God Broly. In just seconds, God Fusion Goku destroys God Broly and ends the battle. In terms of power scaling, God Fusion Goku likely sits around Ultra Instinct’s level.
The strongest Ultra Instinct users in Dragon Ball are God-tier fighters who stand out as some of the most powerful beings across the multiverse.
4 Vegito
Goku & Vegeta (Potara)
When Dragon Ball Z originally wrapped up, Vegito was easily the strongest character in the series. That status didn’t last once Dragon Ball Super arrived and introduced Beerus and God Ki. Eventually, though, Vegito climbed back to the top tier when Goku and Vegeta fused for the final fight against Fused Zamasu during the Goku Black Saga.
Super Saiyan Blue Vegito is a terrifying powerhouse—strong enough to make even an immortal feel threatened. His Power Level is said to rival Beerus, though the fusion would never be able to beat him. There’s a catch, however: Vegito is simply too powerful for the Potara to contain. Even with an hour time limit, the fusion can’t hold—so Goku and Vegeta defuse after only a few minutes.
3 Karoly & Karoly Black
Goku/Goku Black & DBZ Broly
Karoly is formed when Goku and DBZ Broly perform EX-Fusion to combine. Karoly Black, meanwhile, results when Broly fuses with Goku Black instead. Both fusions are presented as some of the strongest Legendary Super Saiyans across the multiverse, blending Broly’s raw destructive power with Goku’s natural talent.
Even though Karoly Black has God Ki while the regular Karoly does not, Karoly is actually portrayed as stronger due to the synergy boost Broly gains from fusing with Goku. Karoly is also described as being stronger than even Vegito, placing him above nearly every character in Dragon Ball Super up through the Tournament of Power. As a G-Rank fighter, both Karoly and Karoly Black are God-tier fusions that feel borderline unbeatable.
2 Gogeta
Goku & Vegeta (Fusion Dance)
Gogeta is the strongest Fusion in the canon Dragon Ball timeline, with enough power not only to fight Beerus, but potentially to defeat him as well. Gogeta first became canon in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, after it was shown that Legendary Super Saiyan Broly was too overwhelming for Goku and Vegeta to handle on their own. With no other option, they perform the Fusion Dance to create the ultimate warrior.
Calling Gogeta the strongest Saiyan is an understatement. Gogeta’s power is so extreme that it causes a literal dimension break during the fight with Broly. Beyond that, he’s strong enough to survive the surface of the sun, as stated by Akira Toriyama. Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta stands among the most powerful beings in the multiverse and would be the top Goku Fusion—if not for one other fusion that’s even more overpowered.
1 Gorus
Goku & Beerus
Gorus is created when Goku and Beerus perform EX-Fusion together in Dragon Ball Fusions. It’s the combination of one of the multiverse’s strongest Saiyans and, by far, the most powerful God of Destruction. The result is a fusion described as a true monster—Gorus is essentially the strongest Destroyer in the entire franchise, mixing Beerus’ power with Goku’s adaptability.
Gorus is second only to Whirus, the fusion of Whis and Beerus, as the strongest Fusion in the series. Gorus is listed as a G Rank fighter, but in practice he’s far stronger than other G Ranks because Beerus already brings massive power even in his base form. Gorus was created before Goku unlocked Ultra Instinct in Dragon Ball Super, so he can’t use the form—but he doesn’t need it purely based on his Power Level.
