Palworld 1.0 Guide: New Creatures, Combat Tools, and QoL Changes
Palworld’s Version 1.0 update is here, marking the game’s official full release and bringing a large batch of new creatures, combat tools, balance changes, and quality-of-life tweaks aimed at both solo adventurers and multiplayer parties. Below is a guided breakdown of what’s new, what’s been reworked, and what systems have changed across the board.
Release window and platform framing
This is the Version 1.0 update for Palworld, presented as an official full release. The patch covers everything from new gameplay mechanics and regions to combat, crafting, multiplayer, and UI changes. For players planning ahead, many of the adjustments also include notes about how they affect existing worlds and saves (including automatic tuning of experience values and certain world-setting behaviors when you start fresh or reset configuration).

New Pals
Version 1.0 introduces a total of 72 new Pals, including 47 brand-new additions and 25 variant Pals. The update also adds new regions, specifically designed to help you track down and encounter these additions as you explore.
Awakening mechanic
A new Awakening system has been added to further strengthen your Pals. You’ll gather Radiant Gems inside the World Tree, then apply them to Pals to “awaken their hidden true power.”
Mutation mechanic
Mutation is a new breeding mechanic that gives breeding a low chance to produce a Pal that’s stronger than what you’d normally get. Mutated eggs result in Pals with improved stats and a distinctive passive skill.
Version 1.0 also adds several special cakes with their own effects:
- Mushroom Cake: Slightly raises the odds that newly hatched Pals gain higher stats.
- Vegetable Cake: Produces two Pal eggs at once.
- Deluxe Vegetable Cake: Increases the likelihood of mutations and makes stat growth more likely.
- Special Cake: Boosts the chance that multiple passive skills are inherited from Pal parents.
Revamped Partner Skills
New Partner Skills arrive in Version 1.0, and the Partner Skills of more than 200 Pals have been reworked. The goal is to keep team building feeling fresh while preserving variety and flexibility.

- New: While in a party, increases Attack of Neutral Pals by 15% (does not stack). While at a base, increases the Handiwork Work Suitability Level for all other base Pals by +1 (does not stack).

Balance Adjustments
- The “increased drop item amount” effect no longer requires fighting alongside the target Pal. From now on, it triggers simply by having that Pal in your party, making it easier to assemble exploration and farming teams.
- Vaelet now drops seeds while ranching, improving how quickly you can prepare for farming and base development.
- Ranching has been tuned to make early-progression materials easier to gather. Some Pals gained ranch suitability, and ranchable materials were adjusted to smooth out early operations.
- For certain Pals—such as glider-focused Pals and those that support player follow-up attacks—crafting Pal Gear is no longer necessary. You can use their Partner Skill immediately after you catch them.
- For follow-up Partner Skills, follow-up damage can no longer deliver the final blow to a Pal you’re trying to catch. This reduces accidental knockouts.
- Healing from Pals like Petallia and Lyleen has changed from a fixed heal amount to a percentage heal based on the player’s maximum Health. It should remain dependable even as max HP rises in later stages.
- Jetragon’s Aerial Missile has been buffed with higher power and a shorter cooldown, letting you strike with better pacing.
- Rushoar’s charge behavior has been adjusted so it stops in place when it hits ore, reducing unwanted position shifts during mining.
- Lamball’s Fluffy Shield now has a wider defensive range, making it easier to block attacks and improving sudden defense and positioning support.
- Mimog can now open treasure chests even when it is not condensed, improving its reliability for early exploration immediately after recruitment.
New Passive Skills
Many new passive Skills for Pals have been added, including:
- Lightfooted: Increases the jump count while riding this Pal.
- Reload Master: Increases the player’s reload speed.
- Ranch Master: Ranch Work Suitability +2.
A new category, World Tree Passive Skills, has also been introduced. Examples include:
- Twin-Edged Holy Blade: Attack +50%, with defense reduced in exchange.
- Dimensional Leap: Movement speed +50%, with hunger decreasing faster in exchange.
- Demon’s Hand: Work speed +90%, with SAN decreasing more easily in exchange.
New Pal motions
More than 100 new motions have been added, including swimming, sleeping beside you, idle actions, and more. The 47 new Pals also receive new animations.
Work Suitability overhaul
Work Suitability Levels have been expanded to 10 tiers, and every Pal’s Work Suitability values have been rebalanced. When a Pal levels up, one of its Work Suitability Levels increases. As before, reaching a Pal’s maximum rank boosts all of its Work Suitability Levels.
Adjusted capture bonus requirements
- Capture Bonus completion requirements were reduced from 12 captures down to 5.
Adjusted condensation
- The number of Pals needed to reach maximum condensation rank was lowered from 116 total to 48.
Additional adjustments and improvements
- When you’re idle for a while, party Pals now stop and face you, making the companion relationship feel more natural.
- Breeding inheritance rules for active skills have changed. Inherited active skills are now chosen randomly from the three active slots set on the parent Pals.
- The cost to reset a Pal’s Soul enhancements has been greatly reduced.
- Egg incubation time has been halved in newly created “Normal” and “Hard” difficulty worlds.
- Elemental damage bonuses have been increased for “Divine Heaven,” “Flame Emperor,” “Sea Emperor,” “Thunder Emperor,” “Spirit King,” “Ice Emperor,” “Earth Emperor,” “King of the Underworld,” and “Divine Dragon.”
- Passive Skills “Legend,” “Rare,” “Burly Body,” and “Diamond Body” have been enhanced.
- The passive skill “Nocturnal” has been renamed “Insomnia.”
- After respawning, players can now choose Fast Travel points beyond their base or starting location.
- Alt key inputs can now be mapped in the key configuration menu.
- Pal Merchants and Black Marketeers item lineups have been adjusted to better match the regions where they appear.
- Overall pricing has been adjusted based on Pal stats.
- Base Pals and party Pals no longer lose SAN when taking damage.
- Negative effects triggered by hunger, fractures, and other status conditions have been reduced.
- Jetragon’s maximum stamina has been increased.
- Lovander is now a Dark type.
New Combat, Gear and Weapons
Version 1.0 adds a full suite of armor, gear, and weapons intended to improve both fights and traversal.
Player motions
- The dodge action performed while attacking or aiming has been changed into a dash. This should help you close distance while avoiding enemy fire or reposition without losing your aim. Note: if you’re not attacking or aiming, you still do the traditional roll.
- You can now attack while dashing, letting you transition into strikes without losing momentum for faster combat pacing.
- Reloading is no longer interrupted during dodge actions. Reloading can continue while dodging, letting you move into your next attack more safely.
- Controls remain more responsive during rolling, making it easier to adjust movement direction after a dodge for more intuitive positioning.
New active skills
- Several new active skills have been added:
- Fuddler: Adds an attack that burrows underground and erupts from beneath enemies.
- Starryon: Adds a charge attack.
- Broncherry Aqua: Adds a Water-element tackle that launches the target.

New equipment and items
- A new glider type, the Wing Pack, has been added:
- It consumes Wing Cells, allowing freer flight without relying on a Pal.
- A new gathering tool, the Plasma Multicutter, has been added:
- Besides gathering ore and wood, it can be used while riding.
- Added the Ancient Series Helm, Armor, and Shield.
- Added 44 new accessories, including the “Command Baton” (strengthens party Pals) and “Air Walker” (expands freedom of movement).
- Added a new item, the Disposable Implant, usable at the operating table:
- It’s consumed on use, but can grant more powerful passive skills.
- Added new ores: Soralite and Paloxite:
- Soralite can only be mined in Sunreach.
- Paloxite can only be mined in the World Tree.
- Added the Ancient Civilization Relic:
- Using a special device converts it into items useful for crafting and enhancement.
- It can only be obtained in the new area, the World Tree.
- Added Nutrient as a new consumable:
- When used on a Pal or the player, hunger stops decreasing for a limited time.
- Added 2 new higher-tier Pal Spheres.
- Training Manual can now be crafted from Ancient Pal Manuscript.
- Food, implants, passive effects, and related systems have received display and effect adjustments.
- The Wing Pack consumes Wing Cells for freer flight without needing a Pal.
- In addition to ore and wood, the Plasma Multicutter can be used while riding.
New weapons
Version 1.0 adds 13 new weapons, all described as follows:
- Mechanical Bow: Crafted using Soralite Ingots; improved projectile velocity and penetration for accurate long-range shots.
- Combat SMG: A submachine gun made using Soralite Ingots; an improved magazine and ammunition for stronger suppressive fire.
- Prototype Shotgun: Crafted using Soralite Ingots; overwhelming close-range firepower with a specialized magazine for better sustained combat.
- Heavy Assault Rifle: Crafted using Soralite Ingots; keeps its versatility while being upgraded to fire more powerful ammunition.
- Tactical Grenade Launcher: Crafted using Soralite Ingots; improved projectile stability supports precise long-range bombardment.
- Laser Sword: Crafted using Soralite Ingots; a beam melee weapon that instantly cuts through targets with a high-output energy blade.
- Beam Scatter: A compressed-energy scatter-beam weapon designed for close-quarters combat.
- Drone Launcher: Deploys autonomous combat drones; can deploy up to nine simultaneously for sustained suppression.
- Plasma Rifle: Fires electrical arcs that chain between multiple enemies from the point of impact.
- Beam Launcher: Fires a dense energy beam that triggers a large-area explosion—be careful about overheating during long bursts.
- Primitive Sword: A melee weapon intended for early-game close-range fights.
- Metal Bat: A bat weapon that becomes available in the mid-game and beyond.
- Enhanced Lily’s Spear: An enhanced version of Lily’s spear for late-game melee use.
Players can now equip up to 6 weapons, with the ability to craft an Extra Weapon Holster.
Combat adjustments and improvements
- By aiming at an enemy and using the mouse wheel or right stick input, you can command a Pal to “Attack that enemy!”
- Dog-type Pals can now bite while attacking.
- Horse-type Pals can now perform repeated charge attacks.
- Fast-moving Pals may step back or reposition after attacking.
- Party targeting has been tuned so Pals more easily target enemies near the player.
- Party Pals will move quickly only during combat.
- Armor durability reduction formulas have been reworked, making armor less likely to break.
- Captured NPCs can now use their original weapons.
- When afflicted with Burn or Muddy, dodging shortens the duration of those status effects.
- Bow drawing can now be cancelled using the reload button.
- A feature has been added to change arrow types for compatible weapons, enabling fire and poison arrows. Because of this, dedicated fire and poison arrow weapons have been removed from the Technology tree (even if you possess their schematics, they can’t be crafted anymore).
- Hit detection for swords, katanas, and beam swords has been adjusted.
- Charge time for some Active Skills has been extended, making them easier to dodge.
- Hit counts for certain skills have been adjusted.
- Fixed issues where some homing skills would endlessly circle targets.
- Fixed issues where Active Skills could be used against targets you can’t reach.
- Some large Pals now have the “Heavyweight” passive skill and are no longer affected by knockback.
- NPC combat AI has been improved.
- Pals and NPCs generally avoid attacking enemies with levels far above their own.
- A warning message is now displayed when your currently equipped weapon overheats.
- Heat and cold resistance values have been adjusted for Hexolite-tier armor and higher.
- Some armor pieces now include passive effects.
- Flinch resistance, knockback resistance, and explosion resistance can now be obtained through cooking.
- Melee attack controls have been improved for more natural handling.
- With “Toggle Sprint” enabled, sprinting continues after performing a dodge.
- Directional behavior during dash dodges has been adjusted.
- The crime system has been overhauled: higher wanted levels bring stronger pursuers.
- You can clear your wanted status by avoiding detection for a period of time.
- NPCs no longer instantly become hostile if you accidentally hit them.
- Pursuit can now be disengaged.
- Default world settings were updated:
- On “Hard,” player damage taken has been adjusted.
- On “Normal,” players no longer drop equipped items upon death.
These changes apply when resetting world settings or starting a new game.
Balance Overhaul
- The Pal experience table and how much experience Pals gain have been adjusted, so lower-level Pals level up more easily.
- Pal capture rate calculations were changed to make Pals easier to catch overall.
- Gold coin amounts from treasure chests were increased by roughly 2 to 4 times.
- Item and Pal trade pricing was adjusted accordingly.
- Crafting material requirements were revised for recipes, weapons, armor, ammo, schematics, and saddles.
- Accessory acquisition changed: instead of acquiring accessories as physical items, you craft them from schematics. Schematics are available at low rates from treasure chests, Ancient Ruins, large oil rigs, and more.
- Shop inventories and price points (buying and selling) were adjusted.
- Expedition destination “danger levels” unlocked after clearing each Tower Boss (Hard) were updated to “Highest,” with major reward rebalancing. Rewards are tuned for difficulty, including the “Kinship Peach.”
- Sunreach and the World Tree were added as expedition destinations.
- Enemy and boss spawn locations were adjusted across the game.
- High-difficulty content levels and difficulty were tuned—including raid bosses, Tower Boss Hard Mode, and oil rigs—to match the raised player level cap.
- Pal Labor Research Laboratory balance was adjusted, with new levels and effects across research categories.
- New items can now be traded for Dog Coins, and the Dog Coin costs per item were reviewed and updated.
- Many new crafting materials were added, and technology unlock levels were reviewed.
- Pal breeding pairings were broadly reviewed to better align acquisition outcomes with game progression.
- Experience gained from crafting has been adjusted for certain items.
- Higher-difficulty fishing locations were added in Sunreach and the World Tree. Bring Pals that help with fishing to tackle the toughest challenges.
- The existing “Expert Fishing Spot” was renamed “Master Fishing Spot.” The label “Expert Fishing Spot” now refers to a new spot one difficulty tier higher.
- Fishing spots, along with the Pals and rewards you can obtain through fishing, were rebalanced.
- Alpha Pals caught from fishing ponds have higher odds.
- Fishing bait can now come from raid rewards, treasure chests, salvage, and scrap.
- Fishing bait has been added to merchants’ stock lists.
- Simple Bait crafting unlocks when Intermediate or Advanced Fishing Rods are unlocked through Technology.
- Lucky Pals now provide Work Suitability enhancement items and large amounts of experience. They also start at a higher rank when captured.
- As Active Skill power increases overall, Lucky Pals in early-game regions no longer carry overly strong Active Skills.
- When “Random Pal Spawn Mode” is enabled, players begin with all Pal saddles unlocked. Note: this applies only to newly created worlds (not worlds carried over from data created before v0.7.3).
- Experience stored in existing save data will be automatically adjusted to match the new experience table. Player levels won’t be reduced.
- Bosses’ Legendary blueprint drops were adjusted, and the pool of eligible items was expanded.
- Display order for Bounty Tokens and saddles was changed.
- Stat Enhancement Fruits can now be crafted using Lotus.
- Crafting yield for enticing fishing bait has been increased.
- Players can now jump even when exceeding carrying capacity, up to 1.25 times the maximum carry weight. Movement speed penalties from being overburdened were reduced.

- Oil rig treasure chest rewards were improved and additional items were added.
- Pals summoned or controlled by enemies at the Rayne Syndicate Platform oil rig can now be captured.
- Cave Mushrooms no longer spoil.
- Selling prices for certain ultra-rare items were reduced to the minimum value to make it clear that selling them isn’t recommended.
- V1 and V2 Armor Schematic IV exchanges now happen at the Arena Merchant rather than the Medal Merchant.
- Pal Sphere crafting materials were changed: Stone and Wood are no longer required, and the sphere can now be crafted using 1 Paldium Fragment.
- The Pal Metal Ingots required for an Ultimate Sphere were reduced from 10 to 5.
Revamped Story Content
Palpagos now has several new areas to explore, each featuring multiple story-driven missions that help you settle into the world while learning more about the locations you’re visiting.
Sub-missions, NPCs and journals
- Story-driven continuous sub-missions have been added.
- New NPCs and journals were added to expand the game’s lore.
Additional story adjustments
- Some missions can now show multiple destination markers at the same time.
- The reward NPC’s mission screen now shows the correct rewards.
- To preserve fairness after reward changes, main mission and sub-mission progress have been reset.
New Regions
Version 1.0’s new regions are built to make Palpagos feel larger and more alive, while also giving existing zones a set of meaningful updates and improvements.
Sunreach
Sunreach is a new set of floating islands where a unique civilization is powered by Paldium. Expect a range of new content here, including new Pals, tower bosses, and ores that require specialized equipment to mine.
The World Tree
The World Tree towers over Palpagos and serves as a major story anchor for Palworld. Inside, players face their toughest challenge yet.
Revamped World
- Ancient Ruins
- Ancient Ruins have been added around the world. Explore and complete minigames to earn valuable rewards such as schematics.
- Watchtowers
- Watchtowers now appear in multiple locations. Activating one reveals the surrounding map and enables it as a fast travel point, making exploration of unknown areas easier.
- Seven new small islands
- Seven new small islands have been added, each featuring one of three biome themes: volcano, desert, and ruins. Each island has its own purpose and includes Pals you can only encounter there.
- New settlements
- Small settlements were added at the Bamboo Groves, the Snowy Mountains, Sakurajima, and Sunreach. Each settlement includes new NPCs and sub-missions.
- Enemy bases have also been added at sea, expanding the locations available for exploration and combat.
Tower Boss Overhaul
All Tower Bosses have been overhauled for Version 1.0 to make them “more dynamic and engaging.” Expect unique visuals, new motions and skills, and more emphasis on environmental interactions. That means familiar bosses don’t just return with new health bars—they also bring fresh attacks and patterns.
- To improve pacing, the Tower Boss time limit dropped from 10 minutes to 5 minutes, and boss stats were adjusted to match.
One of the new bosses is Auri, found high in the skies above Palpagos on one of its floating islands.
Raids and Base Defense Overhaul
- The base raid system has been rebuilt into a wave-based format. Raid enemies attack in successive waves, and players earn rewards after clearing every wave.
- Raid enemy types now vary depending on the environment.
- Defense structures no longer consume ammo.
- Countermeasures were added to handle situations where raid enemies become stuck.
- The raid enemy level automatically scales based on the level of Work Pals assigned to your deployed base.
- If a Gold Coin Assembly Line exists at your base, a dedicated raid event will trigger.
- A negotiator NPC who can cancel raids will visit your base. By paying gold coins, you can prevent an upcoming raid from happening.
Wildlife Sanctuary Updates
Wildlife Sanctuaries are also getting major updates to make each location feel distinct. Each sanctuary will feature unique landscapes to explore, along with specific materials, Pals, and bosses. Inside, defense drones will try to remove intruders—meaning you can sneak around and avoid them or take them on directly.
Rebalanced Pal habitats
Pal placement and spawn levels across the world have been rebalanced so encounters feel more natural for each region you explore.
Increased player level cap
The player level cap has been increased from 65 to 80, and new technologies related to the ancient civilization have been added.
Other adjustments and improvements
- Lifmunk Effigies were reworked into “Pal Effigy.” You can collect effigies of different Pals to enhance your stats. (Effigies you already collected remain as-is.)
- Picking up a Pal Effigy now includes a new animation and effect (skipped if you’re mounted).
- Treasure chests, dungeon rewards, and item drops were rebalanced.
- Dungeon layouts and lighting were adjusted and improved, and dungeon rewards were rebalanced as well.
- Towers that have been cleared now show a different color.
- When a random dungeon is open, its entrance is displayed more clearly.
- Feybreak now has 15 additional entrance locations for random dungeons.
- Some random dungeons that were easy to get lost in have had their layout improved.
- Predator Pals no longer spawn at fixed points; instead, they spawn at low rates across the entire map.
- Junk and salvage targets are now easier to find.
- Bounty target sizes were changed to match regular NPCs.
- The Free Pal Alliance tower was moved to Crescent Moon Shore.
- Descriptions for initial respawn points were updated to fit each environment.
- Several location names were changed: “Forgotten Island,” “Island of Chilling Winds,” and “Windswept Hills, Plateau of Beginnings.”
- The Great Eagle Statue was removed from the top of the tower bosses to improve map visibility.
- Sealed Realms now look different depending on the strength of the boss inside, and two new variations were added.
- You can earn exploration experience for clearing some dungeons and enemy bases.
- Enemy base counts and positions on land were adjusted.
- Fast travel points were added.
- An auto-run function was implemented: with one button press, you can keep running automatically for more comfortable long-distance travel.

Additional adjustments and improvements
- Base Pal behavior for returning to work, hauling, and storage tasks has been improved.
- The crafting UI now includes category filters and a name search function.
- New utility structures were added to support crafting, including the “Ancient Material Synthesizer” (can produce materials such as ore) and the “High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor” (can extract crude oil even without an oil field).
- While inside base range, players can now fast travel directly from the map. You can also travel between bases or to Great Eagle Statues without interacting with the Palbox at a base.
- Visiting merchants were expanded. Depending on your base level, 18 specialized merchant types can appear (meat, vegetables, ammo, medicine, food, and Pal materials).
- The “Repair Kit” requirement for repairing structures has been removed. Pals with Handiwork Work Suitability can repair structures without using items.
- New base facilities were added: the “Clinic” and “Ancient Clinic.” Based on assigned Pals’ Medicine Production Work Suitability level, these facilities can reduce SAN depletion and suppress illness among base Pals.
- Higher-tier monitoring stands were added: “High-Quality Monitoring Stand” and “Ancient Monitoring Stand.” They retain standard Monitoring Stand functionality while also reducing SAN depletion for base Pals.
- Fixed assignments can now be set from the Monitoring Stand even for sleeping Pals.
- Ranch item production time can be adjusted in World Settings.
- A Work Speed multiplier setting was added to World Settings.
- Ranch output was increased, and the default production interval was adjusted in line with the Work Suitability refinements.
- Some lighting structures now allow changing their light color.
- When shopping inside a base, gold stored in base chests is now counted.
- Certain facilities (like the Surgery Table) were improved so they can access items stored in base chests.
- Chests now include an option to auto-deposit matching items without opening the chest.
- Chest quick-storage now respects exclusion lists used for bulk storage.
- Enemy bases will no longer spawn too close to player bases.
- Storage-type structures can now be painted.
- Chests can now be named.
- Chest filter settings visibility was improved, and it’s now always shown when an item filter is active.
- The Palbox appearance when constructed has been improved.
- When placing a Pal Disassembly Conveyor, you can preview the position of its item output.
- Facility effects can now be viewed in the building menu and Technology list.
- An alert was added when no base Pal meets the required Work Suitability for a facility.
- Log messages were improved for insufficient Work Suitability during fixed assignments.
- Error messages were improved when fixed assignments fail while summoning party Pals.
- Party Pals with appropriate Work Suitability will automatically help with trees, rocks, and other resources damaged by the player.
- Base Pals will more reliably prioritize finishing partially progressed tasks.
- The distance between base Pals and facilities during work activities was adjusted.
- When Base Pals are placed in hot springs, they remain until their SAN fully recovers before returning out.
- Ore distribution in the overworld was increased to expand viable base location options.
- Pure Quartz amounts in snowy regions were increased.
- Harvest yield scaling was rebalanced based on Gathering Work Suitability level.
- Higher-tier pickaxes and axes increase the amount of resources gathered.
- Fixed an issue where ranch assignments could reset after logging in.
- Fixed problems with lighting, textures, and visual effects for certain structures.
- Fixed or reduced flickering, gaps, clipping, and shadow rendering errors when building with combined structures (walls, roofs, foundations, and more).
- With Aquatic Construction added, the playable area boundaries along the outer edge of Palpagos Island were adjusted.
Multiplayer
- An in-game voice chat feature has been added. It’s only available when enabled in the world settings of a dedicated server.
- Guild functionality has been improved:
- Multiple roles were added.
- Permissions can now be assigned per role.
- Notifications for member login/logout events were implemented.
- A guild marker feature was added to improve guild management usability.
- Security improvements were made to simplify shared base management. Some structures also restrict access based on roles.
- In-game chat was improved for easier use:
- Players can scroll back through up to 200 lines of chat history.
- Multiplayer joining process improved:
- Saving and restoring server passwords was improved.
- IP address input was improved.
- Save process improvements reduce the risk of save data corruption.
- Added an option to link a Discord account to the game.
- Limited the number of raid boss battles that can occur simultaneously within a guild to a maximum of 1.
- Stability improved for dedicated servers, co-op play, and across all platforms.
- Guild member login and logout notifications were added.
- System messages now use color coding.
- The server list screen was improved for usability.
- A server address hiding mode was added for streaming purposes.
- An icon now appears when a server connection is unstable.
- Multiplayer starting point was adjusted to match single-player.
- Main missions can now be progressed in PvP mode.
- The name of the player who placed a structure and the guild name are now displayed.
- Default dedicated server world settings were adjusted to closely match single-player Normal difficulty.
- On dedicated servers, when enabled in world settings, the ID of the player who placed a structure will be shown.
- Players can scroll back through up to 200 lines of chat history.
UI, UX, and Visuals
- Graphical presentation was significantly adjusted overall.
- Water materials, coastline visuals, lighting, and environmental rendering were revised.
- Water materials and coastline appearance were refined.
- Lighting and environmental presentation across various locations were adjusted.
- Time of day was adjusted for the opening demo and the start of the game.
- Grass and tree draw distance was adjusted at High graphics settings and above.
- Shadow density across the entire field was adjusted.
- Character shadows are now displayed in dungeons, boss areas, Sealed Realms, and similar locations.
- Post-processing effects were adjusted in areas such as deserts and snowy mountains.
- Arena color tone was adjusted.
- Farm crop growth visuals were improved.
- Visuals for river breaks and waterfalls were improved.
- Cherry blossom effects were added to the Sakurajima Tower Boss battle.
- Cage visual effects were enhanced.
- Field boss spawn areas were refined so they better match proper boss-area visuals.
- A new world setting lets players configure the Maximum Number of Dropped Active Items.
- The Pal Box received a search function; the crafting screen gained name filters and category sorting.
- Paldeck received filter options.
- Pal Box now includes a sorting option to sort Pals by Expedition Power.
- Pal status details now show bonus values from Souls and Awakening. HP bonus values, previously hidden, can now be viewed.
- Damage numbers now include an icon when a status effect has been inflicted.
- Status icons such as Burn and Poison now appear on the HP gauge.
- ★ rank display for ranked-up Pals and improved Work Suitability levels were enhanced.
- Partner Skill descriptions were improved to make effect values easier to understand. For example, weight reduction can now show exact values such as “While in party, the weight of Ore is reduced by 80%.”
- Changes to Partner Skill effects by rank are reflected directly in their descriptions. A description showing “Ore weight reduced by 80%” will update to “reduced by 100%” after the Pal’s rank increases.
- Map improvements
- Map controls improved for smoother zooming and icon selection.
- A guild marker can be shared with guild members.
- You can hover the cursor over a base.
- Bases under raid now display a mark.
- Dedicated marks show on boss and Great Eagle Statue icons located below cliffs or inside caves.
- The custom marker window can be closed by clicking outside it.
