Neverness To Everness: How to Break the Chocolate Volcano Red Barrier
In Neverness To Everness, the chocolate volcano’s red barriers can’t be brute-forced—you have to remove them by finding and lighting three braziers. As you explore the zone, you’ll run into two separate red barrier setups, and while they block your path at first, they won’t stop you from continuing once you complete each brazier puzzle. The pay-off is worth it too: each barrier guards useful loot, including rare accessories that can meaningfully strengthen your characters. Here’s the step-by-step guide for unlocking both red barriers inside the chocolate volcano.
Along the way, you can also sell collectibles and equipment to earn additional Warren Gold Coins in NTE, or hang onto them if you’d rather use your resources for other goals.
How to Remove the First Red Barrier in Chocolate Volcano (NTE)

Start by heading to the Bonfire at the top, which sits amid wooden platforms. From this spot, you should be able to reach both red barriers. Once you’re in position, go west across the bridge toward a small rocky entrance. You’ll meet enemies as you push in—deal with them quickly so you can move around freely. After clearing the area, it’s time to locate the three braziers and solve the puzzle.
Brazier Location #1
For the first brazier, look to the southwestern portion of the area. Approach it and interact to ignite it.
Brazier Location #2
The second brazier is slightly east, near some wood debris. Light it as well to keep the puzzle progressing.
Brazier Location #3
The third brazier sits up the slope on the far left, positioned in front of some crates. Turn it on to finish the set.
After the three braziers are lit, a notification will tell you that the mysterious barrier has weakened—meaning you can move forward. Beyond the barrier, you’ll face more enemies in NTE, and they guard a chest. Clear the fight to open it and claim what’s inside.
How to Remove the Second Red Barrier in Chocolate Volcano (NTE)
To reach the second red barrier, return to the same Bonfire, but this time take the route up the slope to the southwest. The braziers are spread out around you, so you should be able to spot them without too much trouble and ignite each one.
Light the brazier to the north, near the wooden planks.
Then head west to find the second brazier beside a cartwheel.
For the final brazier, go south and ignite it. Once you do, the second puzzle in NTE is complete.
When the final brazier sequence finishes, players will receive another similar message indicating the mysterious barrier has disappeared. A chest will be waiting behind it, containing multiple valuable items, including a strong accessory for your characters in NTE.
