Kowakujo Free Power-Up Guide: All Locations in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Kowakujo has arrived in Black Ops 7 Season 4 Reloaded, and it could be one of the strongest Zombies maps the mode has seen yet. The layout is built around a long-form Easter Egg run that culminates in a Dragon boss encounter—so there’s plenty for completionists. If your goal is to squeeze out every advantage during the match, though, you’ll want to track down the map’s free Power-Ups, plus a separate Easter Egg tied to a Perk. Here’s every Kowakujo Power-Up location.

Key takeaways

  • The Nuke Power-Up sits near the Training Area lava and is also tied to the same spot used to reclaim the first Ward.
  • Max Ammo is located out of bounds inside the eastern building, tucked at the base of a sword rack.
  • Double Points can be collected from the cherry blossom tree in the Central Courtyard, but you must stand just past the Tenshu Entrance.
  • Fire Sale only spawns after you grab every earlier Power-Up, and you can trigger it remotely with C4.
  • Random Perk appears in a vase in the north-east Kitchens building once all prior Power-Ups (except Fire Sale) are collected.

Takeo’s side Easter egg requirements

Takeo’s side Easter egg has been found in Kowakujo. The next step is knowing what you must do to unlock it, and the run still follows the map’s broader Easter Egg structure.

All Kowakujo Power-Up locations in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Nuke location

The Nuke Power-Up can be found on the lava toward the north-east side of the Training Area, in the same general location you need to revisit to recapture the first Ward. Because it’s close by, you can either shoot it immediately or use the C4 approach to hold onto it for later.

Max Ammo location

The Max Ammo Power-Up is out of bounds in the zombie barricade inside the building to the east side of the Training Area. When you reach the area, look for it at the base of a sword rack in the left corner.

Double Points location

The Double Points Power-Up is on the cherry blossom tree in the Central Courtyard. To pick it up, you’ll need to stand just past the entrance to the Tenshu Entrance.

Bonus Points location

The Bonus Points Power-Up is on the wall in the south-east corner of the Kitchens. Since it’s near, you can either shoot it to activate the pickup or use a C4 to trigger it from another spot.

The AN-94 is back in Black Ops 7, and it has already become the top Assault Rifle option. Here’s an OP meta loadout for the AN-94 in Black Ops 7 and Warzone.

Full Power location

The Full Power Power-Up can be found on a piece of ruined masonry out of bounds at the Flower Garden. If you stand by the exfil and look east, it should be visible from your position.

Insta-Kill location

The Insta-Kill Power-Up is located in the Storage Rooms. It’s in a cupboard inside a room on the north side, directly opposite the MK.78 Wall Buy. You’ll need to go prone to reach it.

Max Armor location

The Max Armor Power-Up is in the zombie barricade at the Workshop, positioned on the south side right before the Vulture Aid Perk Machine. You’ll need to jump to see it, and because it isn’t far, the C4 strategy is the quickest way to grab it.

Fire Sale location

The Fire Sale Power-Up is in a puddle at the Onsen Baths, placed just in front of the Mystery Box spawn location. It won’t show up until you’ve collected every earlier Power-Up. Since it’s relatively close, you can place C4 on it and detonate it from anywhere across the map.

Random Perk location

The Random Perk Power-Up is located in the building on the north-east side of the Kitchens. You’ll find it hidden inside a vase in the top-left corner, but it only appears after you’ve collected all the previous Power-Ups—excluding Fire Sale.
