How to Meet Sora and Move Him Into Rainbow Tower in Hello Kitty Island

Sora is one of the Island Visitors exclusive to the City Town DLC in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. He’s a light blue bear who’s friends with Usahana, and if you befriend him, you can move him into the Rainbow Tower. This guide walks you through how to meet Sora and get him set up to stay in City Town permanently.

Checklists

Sora is tied directly to City Town activities in the City Town DLC. To make him a permanent fixture, you’ll need to progress far enough to unlock his visitor status, then set up an apartment in the Rainbow Tower that matches the game’s decoration rules.

Sora Visitor Requirements

To unlock Sora as a visitor, you must finish the Quest “Into the Fog” and meet Usahana. After that point, you can open and decorate apartments inside the Rainbow Tower. If you want more apartment slots, you’ll also need Orange Sherbet Crates, which are located around City Town.

Even after you have an apartment, Sora won’t agree to stay unless the space includes the exact decoration set below.

  • Must be in City Town to be near Usahana
  • Must have one Unsweetened Starry Boba Tea
  • Must have one piece of Pillow furniture (Any)
  • Must have five pieces of Dreamy furniture

Use the Visitor Menu to verify your apartment is eligible. If you’ve satisfied every requirement, the apartment will be marked with a green checkmark. Note that Sora is a monthly visitor who will drop by Friendship Island every five weeks.

Sora Gifts

Sora likes Tea, so you’ll want to gift him items that carry the Tea Tag in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Tea can be prepared at the Chef’s Station once you’ve unlocked it in the Imagination Cafe by choosing “A Whole New Menu.”

Sora Friendship and Daily Quests

Sora comes with five different Quests that you can complete while he’s visiting. Each Quest you complete boosts his friendship level by one star. Once you reach five stars, you can ask Sora to stay in City Town permanently as a resident.

His available Quests are listed below—but the guide text provided here doesn’t include the names of those five Quests.

How to Start Sora’s Friendship Quest

After Sora becomes a Permanent Resident on the island, you’ll unlock a new quest with him called “Imaginary Topiary.” However, before it appears in your Menu, you must first complete Panya’s Quest, “Art from the Heart.”

In this stage, Sora’s goal is to improve the shrubs around City Town, and your help is required to get that work done.
