Checklists

Salt Lagoon is a small island in the eastern section of the world map, and it’s hiding a treasure that you can find early on in your journey. Here’s what you need to know about how to find the Salt Lagoon treasure map and its treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Salt Lagoon Treasure Map

The Salt Lagoon treasure map is obtained on Abaco Island, one of the earliest locations you’ll reach in the game. Head to the island’s southwest side to find it.

Look for a skeleton positioned near a palm tree. Approach and interact with it to collect the Salt Lagoon Map.

The map’s treasure coordinates are 719, 607. These numbers do not point to Abaco Island itself—they direct you to Salt Lagoon.

Salt Lagoon Treasure Location

Once you’re ready to dig, remember that Salt Lagoon lies southeast of Abaco Island. Using the 719, 607 coordinates from the treasure map, you’ll be led to the base of a large stone positioned near a few wooden crates.

You can also spot where to dig while viewing the area from the island’s only viewpoint (the location is shown and highlighted in the image referenced by the guide).

Dig at the spot to claim 3,000 reales and the Serpent Figurehead Design Plan for the Jackdaw.
