How to Earn and Redeem Twitch Drops in College Football 27
Anyone tuning into College Football 27 streams on Twitch can earn Campus Tokens. Even though the rewards don’t feel especially exciting at launch, they’re still the kind of currency worth grabbing and grinding for—so here’s how the Twitch Drops system works and what you can actually buy with what you earn.
If you caught the game’s reveal stream earlier in June, you may already see a few Campus Tokens waiting in your account. More are available, but only through specific creators you’ll be able to watch on Twitch.
And if you’re building a squad around mobility, the fastest quarterbacks can help you push the ball downfield or slip past rushers. With that in mind, here’s a look at the 10 fastest QBs in College Football 27.
How to Get Twitch Drops in College Football 27
Twitch Drops for College Football 27 are tied to your EA Account. If you don’t already have one, create an EA Account first. After that, switch over to Twitch and link your EA Account to your Twitch profile.
When you boot the game, make sure you link the same EA Account. On your first launch, College Football 27 will ask you to connect your platform account (PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam) to your EA Account. Use the EA Account that matches the one you connected to Twitch, or your Drops won’t land correctly.
You can earn Drops by watching official broadcasts or select creator streams. Still, you’ll want to double-check that the stream you’re watching includes the Drops Enabled tag. Not every creator offers Drops. The official EA’s College Football Twitch page keeps Drops enabled, and the amount you can earn scales with watch time.
- Watch for 15 minutes: x1 Campus Token.
- Watch for 30 minutes: x2 Campus Tokens.
- Watch for 60 minutes: x1 Campus Super Token (which is treated as x10 Campus Tokens).
After a Twitch Drop triggers, open your Twitch Inventory and use the Claim option on the Drop you received. The Campus Token won’t show up instantly in-game; it gets added to your loot the next time you log in.
EA hasn’t clarified how many Drops you can earn per creator, and it’s also unclear whether there’s a daily limit on Campus Token earnings. What is clear: the official stream doesn’t provide anything beyond the one-hour mark for watch time.
How to Redeem Campus Tokens in College Football 27
Once you earn them, Campus Tokens are placed in your Item Binder in Ultimate Team. To spend them, go to the Sets tab inside the Ultimate Team menu. You’ll see sets that only accept Campus Tokens or Campus Super Tokens as payment—those are the ones you should target for Twitch Drop spending.
Campus Tokens take up Item Binder space. To help with inventory management, the game lets you convert Campus Tokens into Super Tokens so you don’t hit the storage limit. You can later convert Super Tokens back into Campus Tokens if you want.
- Conversion Rate:
- Give 10 Campus Tokens → Get 1 Super Token
- Give 1 Super Token → Get 10 Campus Tokens
- Give 10 Campus Tokens → Get 1 Super Token
- Give 1 Super Token → Get 10 Campus Tokens
What Rewards Can You Buy With Campus Tokens?
At launch, the reward lineup for Campus Tokens in College Football 27 is much narrower than what players saw in the previous entry. EA has said it intends to expand the rewards in later updates, but for now, these are the available options:
- CUT BND Pack — x1 Campus Token
- CUT Better BND Pack — x12 Campus Token
- CUT Superior BND Pack — x3 Campus Super Tokens
- CUT Stars of the Season Player Item — x18 Campus Super Tokens
For clarity, a BND pack can’t be traded, listed on the auction block, or exchanged.
You may also notice that Fantasy, Hero, and Champion packs aren’t included for Campus Tokens anymore—at least not at launch.
If you’re sitting in the middle—somewhere between 3 Super Tokens and 18 Super Tokens—there aren’t many “great” choices. The gap between the Superior BND Pack and the Stars of the Season player item is wide enough that it can feel like the most efficient move is simply grinding toward the higher-value option.
As for the Stars of the Season player item itself, EA hasn’t shown what the item will be yet, and the reveal has been pushed back to later this year.
Last year, College Football 26 offered a 99-rated player for 20 Super Tokens, along with a Champion Pack for 18 Super Tokens. Since no Champion Packs have been confirmed for CFB 27 yet, it’s reasonable to expect the Stars of the Season item to be a 99-rated player—or something very close to that.
