Silver Wolf Mountain Northern Cave Treasure Chest

  • Reward: Ashad Plate Armor

This treasure chest contains a set item intended to be worn by Oongka. You can find it inside a pitfall to the north of Pailune, within the Silver Wolf Mountain Northern Cave.

To reach the cave entrance, travel along the main road on the northern side of Pailune. Go west from Svinholt Ranch toward Odeck. Along the route, watch for the Pitfall Camp that has been overrun by bandits, and then head south of that camp. There you’ll spot the unmistakable pit: a hole in the ground you can drop into.

Once you’re down in the pit, follow the cave path all the way to the end. At the far side, you’ll find the chest holding the Ashad Plate Armor for Oongka, which includes additional lightning resistance, extra skill experience gain, and damage reduction.

Frostpierce Cave Treasure Chest

  • Reward: Ashad Plate Boots

This treasure chest contains a set fragment to be worn by Oongka. It sits behind a waterfall in Frostpierce Cave, located in the farthest northwestern corner of Pailune—further west than the town of Odeck and above Longbranch. The cave is considerate enough to include an Abyss Teleporter above the falls, making it easier to tell when you’re nearing the right spot.

Head toward a river flowing down from the northern mountains, then look for a large rock archway spanning over the water. Move down to the base of the falls to find a small pile of stones, which signals there’s a cave beyond. Enter the area by using the Stab technique at the correct angle (RB/R1 + Y/Triangle). Inside, you’ll find a small treasure-filled cave that includes a Refined Palmar Pill and the Ashad Plate Boots for Oongka, already carrying increased climb speed and extra healing over time.

Ashad Plate Helm

The Ashad Plate Helm is obtained after defeating White Bearclaw.

Ashad Plate Gloves

The Ashad Plate Gloves are obtained after defeating Mazzul, the Dark Justiciar, during the Side Quest “One Step Ahead.”

Ashad Plate Cloak

The Ashad Plate Cloak is obtained after defeating White Horn during the Side Quest “Deep-Rooted Sorrow.”
