How to Set Up a City Town Apartment for Panya in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Panya the panda is an Island Visitor and a friendly companion of Usahana in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Once you’ve unlocked the City Town DLC, you can finally meet Panya—and with the right apartment setup, you can convince her to stay. This guide walks you through decorating the ideal City Town apartment for Panya and turning her into a permanent resident.

Checklists

Panya the panda is an Island Visitor and friend of Usahana in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. You can meet this cheerful character after unlocking the City Town DLC. This guide explains how to decorate the perfect apartment for Panya and unlock her as a lasting resident.

Panya Visitor Requirements

After you meet Usahana during the quest “Into the Fog,” you’ll be able to unlock Panya as a visitor. To do it, secure an apartment in City Town’s Rainbow Tower (you’ll need Orange Sherbet Crates scattered around the city) and decorate it to match the checklist below:

  • Must be in City Town to be near Usahana
  • Must have one Sakura Mochi
  • Must have one Sakura Frappe
  • Must have three pieces of Pirate furniture (Any)
  • Must have one piece of Bed furniture (Any)
  • Must have two pieces of Chair furniture (Any)

Open the Visitor Menu to confirm your apartment is perfect for Panya. If you’ve satisfied every requirement, your apartment setup will be marked with a green checkmark. Keep in mind that Panya is a monthly character, meaning she’ll show up on Friendship Island every five weeks, as long as City Town remains unlocked.

Panya Gifts

Panya responds best to items with the Mochi gift tag. You can craft Mochi at the Chef’s Station inside the Imagination Cafe.

Panya Friendship and Daily Quests

On each day Panya visits, there’s a chance she’ll assign you a quest to complete. If you finish all five quests during her visit period and get Panya to five stars, she can move into the Rainbow Tower permanently.

Panya’s quests are available during her visits. Once she has moved in, you’ll be able to unlock and complete the quest “Art from the Heart,” which grants access to a rainbow graffiti mural in City Town.
