Pokémon Pokopia’s Blubbmeeria DLC Is Live: Dive Into Flooded Azuria City
The first downloadable chapter for Pokémon Pokopia is now live, sending players to a flooded Azuria City—if they’ve done the right pre-steps and own the expansion pass. The Blubbmeeria DLC also introduces a new pocket of content that opens through a hidden door in Trübküstia, with a newly added dive-related mechanic playing a key role.

To reach the Blubbmeeria map and its new content, players must already have a significant portion of the main story completed. Specifically, Trübküstia needs to be unlocked, and the Wichtigen Wunsch quest titled “Erhöhe das Umgebungslevel” must be finished in that area.
There’s also a hard requirement for a new move: the Taucher ability. It’s being provided for free to all players via the simultaneous Update 2.0 rollout that comes with the Blubbmeeria DLC, so you don’t need to purchase anything extra beyond the expansion pass to use it.
How to get to the flooded Azuria City area
Once those requirements are met, head to Trübküstia and speak with Robball outside the Pokémon Center. Robball, one of the new Pokémon arriving with the DLC, shares details about its home and points you toward a secret gateway leading into the new zone.
The door is located in the western sea of Trübküstia, positioned well out from the shoreline. Reaching it requires using the newly available Taucher ability. After traveling with Robball to the hidden entrance, a brief dialogue triggers the standard opening process, letting you access the DLC map.
After a short intro sequence, you can immediately explore on your own, including discovering new habitats, meeting new Pokémon, and progressing through the DLC’s story quests.
What’s next after Blubbmeeria
Blubbmeeria is confirmed as the first of three planned Pokopia DLC releases stretching out through 2027. Details for Parts 2 and 3 haven’t been revealed yet, but there’s already a clear promise for late-year content: accessories are planned to arrive.
The second DLC is set to expand customization by letting players equip hats, clothing, jewelry, and more for visual tailoring. However, that update is not described as bringing another new map the way Blubbmeeria does.
