Story setup

At the center of Kun: Il divoratore del creato – Il ritorno del caposetta is Lingxiao Fan, a master of spirits and the leader of the Lingxiao sect. During a competition involving major sects, he is betrayed and devoured by his own animal spirit—a whale named Kun.

When Lingxiao Fan awakens, he finds himself trapped in the body of an adolescent named Fengmang Liu, held in the Bai residence. Meanwhile, the Lingxiao sect is on the verge of collapse, and Lingxiao Fan sets out to uncover what really happened behind the betrayal and rebuild the group.

His new journey brings him together with remaining spirits and allies including Ling Gu, Xi Cheng, and Tong Yue.
