Brzdęk! Katakumby Expansions Pre-Orders End Aug. 3 as Lucrum Limits Copies

Lucrum Games has announced that pre-orders for two expansions for Brzdęk! Katakumby will end on August 3. Due to extremely strong demand, the publisher is limiting the number of copies available for pre-order.

The first of the two announced add-ons, Zaświaty, is described as a completely new expansion that takes players deeper underground—into even more dangerous sections packed with treasure and fresh challenges. The expansion leans into new mechanics and decision points that change how you push your run.

During play, you’ll be able to use black-market stalls, discover mystical towers that provide additional benefits, and offload unwanted cards by throwing them into a deep-water lake. There’s also a new option to hire an assistant, intended to make it easier to take advantage of valuable finds you uncover.

As you push further, the expansion introduces new opponents and more demanding encounters, with only the boldest players able to secure the standout rewards. The publisher notes that you’ll need the base version of Brzdęk! Katakumby to play Zaświaty.

Nory i Mityczne Potwory adds new dungeon content

The second expansion, Nory i Mityczne Potwory, is a print-on-demand add-on that brings a large batch of new dungeon tiles. These tiles are meant to reveal additional rooms, traps, monster lairs, and unusual locations as you explore.

Exploration is further supported by new paths that feature special effects—some make it harder to obtain artifacts, while others push you even deeper into the catacombs. Like Zaświaty, this expansion also requires the base game Brzdęk! Katakumby.

Pre-order pricing and release window

Both expansions are available for purchase through the publisher’s shop, with promo materials included in the pre-order bundles. Nory i Mityczne Potwory with a promo card costs 79.90 zł, while Zaświaty with promo stickers is priced at 89.90 zł.

Both add-ons are scheduled to release in September, but pre-order access is set to close on August 3 as Lucrum Games caps the number of available pre-order copies.
