Palworld Corrosive Solvent Guide: Unlock Recipe, Gather Materials, Craft
Corrosive Solvent is a mid-game crafting ingredient in Palworld that you’ll lean on for a variety of late-game creations. To make Corrosive Solvents, you’ll need to hit level 37 to unlock the recipe from the tech tree. After that, gather Sulfur and Venom Glands, then combine them at any Workbench. Because the ingredient list can slow you down, this guide breaks down the fastest way to produce Corrosive Solvent without constantly running around for materials.
Players in Palworld can explore a broad variety of dungeons for both loot and Pals. Here’s every dungeon in Palworld, ranked.
How to Craft Corrosive Solvent in Palworld
Once you reach level 37, open the Technology menu. You can either scroll down to the level 37 section or use the search feature to locate the Corrosive Solvent recipe. Spend Technology Points to unlock it, then go to the nearest Workbench to begin crafting.
Corrosive Solvent requires the following materials:
- 1 Venom Gland
- 1 Sulfur
You can produce Corrosive Solvent at any Workbench tier, but for faster output, it’s best to use a Production Assembly Line. Be aware that assembly lines need electricity, so you’ll have to set up power by building Power Generators and assigning Electric-type Pals to run them.
Where to Get Venom Glands
When I need Venom Glands, I usually hunt poisonous nocturnal Pals. On the island beyond the Ravine Entrance to the west of the Hill of Beginnings, you can find a solid number of Cawgnitos and Depressos roaming around at night. Defeat or capture them to collect Venom Glands.
Capturing Pals still earns you materials, and you can even improve your yield by capturing a Pal and then butchering it with a Meat Cleaver for additional drops.
Another option is Feybreak: capture the level 55 Caprity Noct there for a steadier supply. Place the Caprity Noct in a Ranch, and it will generate Venom Glands continuously.
Where to Get Sulfur
Sulfur shows up in volcanic regions, though you can also sometimes find it while exploring dungeons. In my experience, dungeons that are located past the Ravine Entrance have a fairly good chance of containing Sulfur inside. That makes them useful not only for Solvent materials, but also for grabbing extra loot along the way.
The most efficient place to farm Sulfur is the volcano far west of the Hill of Beginnings. It’s also quite dangerous, so you’ll want heat-resistant armor to keep the climate from hurting your character.
You can also build Sulfur Quarries in your bases to automate the process. The Sulfur Quarry recipe becomes available at level 46 and requires Ancient Technology Points.
What is Corrosive Solvent For?
Much like Cryogenic Coolant, Corrosive Solvent is used in multiple advanced Palworld recipes, including:
- Meteor Launcher
- Pal Surgery Table
- Katana
- Pal Metal Axe & Pickaxe
- Weapon Assembly Line II
Related note: Sulfur is also required for crafting Gunpowder, which you’ll need for ammunition. If you rely on guns often, it’s worth scaling up your Sulfur production so you can support both Gunpowder and Corrosive Solvent output.
