In Palworld, passive skills can completely reshape how a Pal performs—especially when you’re hunting for a creature specialized in one job. With the game’s big 1.0 update, a batch of new passive traits was added, including several tied to the World Tree tier. Here’s a full rundown of the new Pal passives introduced in 1.0, plus what they mean for your breeding and base setup.

Pals can come with different passives when captured or bred, and those can include any of the ones listed above, except for the World Tree passives. World Tree passives can only be found on Pals that appear in the World Tree region, and unlike regular passives, they always include a serious trade-off.

Player impact: which passives to prioritize

I strongly recommend having at least one Pal with the Babysitter passive, since it significantly speeds up the breeding process in Palworld. The more Pals you obtain, the better your odds of landing the exact passive combination you want.

God of Destruction or Twin-Edged Holy Sword pair well with passives that boost survivability. If you prefer a riskier approach, you can also use them by themselves for a more “glass cannon” style.
