King K. Rool Final Boss Warp Route Guide (Switch)

Instead of using an exit door at the end of Hideout Helm, you’ll be sent back through the game’s hub flow and set up a warp sequence that ultimately leads you straight into the final battle.

Final Boss Battle: King K. Rool

How to get to King K. Rool

Unlike earlier boss encounters, you don’t take an exit door from the final stage, Hideout Helm, and trade bananas with Troff ’n’ Scoff to move forward.

Rather than that, you’ll leave Hideout Realm’s lobby and return to the DK Isles. From there, use Bananaporter 1 to warp over to K. Lumsy’s Island.

Next, bring the last Boss Key to K. Lumsy’s island, where it will finally unlock the cage.

King K. Rool, however, isn’t waiting around—he’s already set to escape by launching a dragon-themed VTOL aircraft.

With K. Lumsy celebrating his freedom, he rises from the water in a kaiju-style moment. Once he spots K. Rool’s jet, he goes after it, but his luck runs out: true to his name, he trips over a rock and faceplants, bringing the airplane down with him.

Now send your favorite Kong to Bananaporter 3 and hop into the freshly created hole in the ground. That’s the entry point that drops you into the final battle against King K. Rool.
