Checklists
Starlight Storm Cave Treasure Chest
- Reward: Plate Gloves of the Fallen Kingdom
This hidden Treasure Chest is located in Starlight Storm Cave. It’s tucked away behind a waterfall and can be found by heading to the west of Hernand City, then following the nearby river upstream. Keep going past the Kilnden Workshop and an Abyss Cresset Puzzle in Duskwood.
When you reach the river area, look for the waterfall and the Abyss Teleporter at the bottom. Climb upward toward the falls’ source until you see a stacked set of rocks—an indicator that a secret entrance sits just beyond the waterfall. Enter it using the Stab technique at the right angle (RB/R1 + Y/Triangle). Inside, you’ll find a small cave packed with loot, including the Plate Gloves of the Fallen Kingdom. These gloves also come with several healing-oriented Abyss Gear perks, such as increased Food Effects and Health Regen.
Frozen Soul Cave Treasure Chest
- Reward: Leather Armor of the Fallen Kingdom, Refined Palmar Pill
This Treasure Chest sits behind a waterfall in Frozen Soul Cave. To reach it, travel upriver along a long, winding route that crosses western Hernand. Continue through Duskwood, then pass Fort Warspike and its outposts. The chest is located just below the Sanctum of Benediction.
Follow the river until you spot cascading falls, then keep climbing until you find a waterfall with a stack of rocks at its base—signaling a secret entrance just after the falls. Use the Stab technique at the correct angle (RB/R1 + Y/Triangle) to get in. Inside, the cave includes a Refined Palmar Pill and the Leather Armor of the Fallen Kingdom, which offers unique Abyss Gear benefits such as increased Silver Gain, Stamina Regen, and Increased Swim Speed.
Sanctum of Benediction Treasure Chest
- Reward: Leather Helm of the Fallen Kingdom
This Treasure Chest is hidden inside the Sanctum of Benediction, a large ruin on the western edge of Central Hernand, positioned due west of Hernand Town. The easiest route is to head upriver along the main road above a winding stream in the Duskwood region, then pass Fort Warspike. You’ll reach the sanctum from there.
Once you arrive via the main road, stick to the southwest side. Look for a courtyard-like area with markings on the wall, plus a short set of stairs leading to a blank wall with a large symbol above it. That wall conceals a secret door. To open it, light the stone brazier just to the right. Inside, you’ll find both the reactor component needed to cleanse the sanctum and the chest containing the Leather Helm of the Fallen Kingdom, which already includes a bonus to Turning Slash.
Icemoor Castle Ruins Treasure Chest
- Reward: Leather Cloak of the Fallen Kingdom, Rapier of the Fallen Kingdom, Palmar Pill
You can find this Treasure Chest in Icemoor Castle Ruins, a large ruin in central Hernand between the regions of Hernand and Calphade to the north. To get there, work your way up west of Haunted Hill and Ivynook. Then take the road as it curves through the mountains, passing a large lake below the Sanctum of Atonement.
Keep in mind: these ruins are also where a Side Quest Boss Battle takes place, featuring King of the Fallen Kingdom. Plan to fight both him and his minions as you approach.
Whether you battle the King or not (he drops the Shield of the Fallen Kingdom), push deeper through the castle ruins until you reach the upper north side. From the top—along the ramparts and above the throne where the King was—look back south to spot a small gap in the lower walls. Go into the crawlspace there to find the chest with the Leather Cloak of the Fallen Kingdom. In a corner nearby, you can also pick up the Rapier of the Fallen Kingdom, which can be equipped by Damiane.
Nightstorm Cave Treasure Chest
- Reward: Plate Boots of the Fallen Kingdom, Palmar Pill
This Treasure Chest is tucked behind a waterfall leading to Nightstorm Cave. The cave is directly north of the first “N” in Hernand, and it sits about halfway up the waterfall section in the area.
As you approach Nightstorm Cave, you should notice a small stack of rocks—another hint that there’s a cave passage beyond the falls. Enter it using the Stab technique at the correct angle (RB/R1 + Y/Triangle).
Inside, head all the way to the end of the cave to locate a Treasure Chest containing the Plate Boots of the Fallen Kingdom along with a Palmar Pill.
