Sanctum of Deliverance prerequisites

To start the Sanctum of Deliverance, you’ll need to meet Bari, the Witch of Kindness. After you connect with her, she unlocks multiple sanctums and assigns you tasks that involve cleansing them.

Where to find the Sanctum of Deliverance

You can locate the Sanctum of Deliverance just north of Hernand Town, along the river that runs past Stormtalon Ridge. The closest Abyss Cresset is actually positioned at the edge of the sanctum area, and simply finding it is enough to activate it. There’s also an Abyss Nexus to the northwest that’s well placed for you to glide in from.

How to cleanse the Sanctum of Deliverance

Cleaninges the Sanctum of Deliverance requires reconstructing the machine on the northern side of the ruins. You’ll need two specific blocks: a power core, and the top portion of a broken column.

The first block is located inside the largest standing building within the ruins. You’ll have to climb to the roof, cross the crumbling sections to reach the interior, then drop down. Use your Axiom Force (L3/LS) to grab the block, seal it (△/Y) into your Kuku Pot, and then climb back out.

The second block sits on the southern side of the sanctum, tucked behind a gate. Light the two lanterns positioned on either side of it to obtain the block. In the same room as this block, you’ll also find a treasure chest containing the Alpha Wolf Helm.

Once you have both blocks, carry them back to the machine and install them. The first block fits into the opening on the north side of the machine, while the second block goes on top of the broken column on the north side. Use Force Current (R3/RS) or Force Palm (R3/RS) to force them into place.

After both blocks are set, the machine will begin to hum and Bari will come by to thank you for your work—though that’s not the end of the task.

How to get the Core of Deliverance

When the machine is powered up, the panel on its front will activate. At that point, you can use Blinding Flash (L2/LB+R2/RB -> L2/LB) to shine light into the large crystal in the middle. The ring of gems around the crystal will start spinning clockwise. You have to time your light bursts so they land on the small gems while steering clear of the empty blank sections.

Flash your blade as the central targeting line lines up with the small gems, then stop flashing when the line passes over the blank spaces. When you flash again, you’ll need to lead slightly ahead, because the light takes about half a second to reach the gem. Each gem only needs a quick tap of the button.

Once you successfully trigger the machine, the front panel will shift, and the Core of Deliverance will be released from the top. Grab it with Axiom Force and seal it into your Kuku Pot. These cores can be used in certain Kuku Blueprints.

Treasure in the Sanctum of Deliverance

By cleansing the Sanctum of Deliverance, you obtain the Blueprint for the Kuku Flame-Resistant Armor and the Kuku Frostspitter, and you make progress toward completing “The Witch of Kindness.”

There is one hidden treasure chest within the Sanctum of Deliverance. You’ll find it in the room where you collected the second block. The chest contains the Alpha Wolf Helm.

It may not provide strong stat boosts, but it does grant you a wolf disguise that lets you sneak up on wolves.
