Uncharted Worlds Roadmap: Every Early Location and Checklist Guide
This guide page lays out the “Uncharted Worlds Roadmap,” a checklist-style walkthrough for every Uncharted World you can unlock early on in the game after you assume command of the SSV Normandy SR-1.

How to Use This Page
This section functions as a hub. It lists the systems you can visit right away, along with the Assignments you’re able to complete as soon as you’re in control of the Normandy. It also explains the intended progression for the checklist.
- This approach is written for players who have: recently finished “Citadel: Expose Saren,” completed the Assignments from your initial visit to the Citadel, just wrapped up “Find Liara T’Soni,” and have not yet returned to the Citadel or completed the Feros and Noveria storylines.
- In particular, it expects you’ve picked up “UNC: Hostile Takeover,” which you can’t finish unless you first obtain it from Helena Blake outside the Presidium Emporium.
- Use the links for each Assignment to jump to its specific page. Those pages include travel instructions and also list any Discoveries you can locate—like mineral-rich asteroids and planets—that award XP and Credits. Discoveries like these also support Discovery Side Quests.
- Each Assignment page also explains how to complete the Assignment itself, including maps that show where to go across the Uncharted World or ship, plus any buildings the quest takes you into.
- When you finish an Assignment, you can scroll to the bottom of the page to find a blue box that links to the next Assignment to complete.
- In particular, it expects you’ve picked up “UNC: Hostile Takeover,” which you can’t finish unless you first obtain it from Helena Blake outside the Presidium Emporium.
There are also several extra notes to keep in mind:
- The Rogue VI Assignment in the Sol system doesn’t become available until you reach Level 20. If you follow the checklist in order and handle every enemy you encounter along the way, you’ll reach it well before you’re prompted to do that specific Assignment.
- Some systems are left unvisited in this roadmap, including locations in the Artemis Tau cluster. Even though you can go there, you can’t do everything in those places until later in the story. To reduce unnecessary backtracking, the guide omits them for now.
- Two “Morality Worlds” are also not listed here. They only unlock after you fill up one or both Morality Bars, which can’t happen until later. Because of that timing, the guide covers them after the Post-Third Mission World section, when you’re more likely to have already unlocked them.
- Any other Uncharted or “UNC” Missions are unlocked after completing Feros or Noveria, and they each have their own dedicated sections in the Side-Quests area of the guide.

Why Do You Want To Do All This?
The guide doesn’t assume you’ll put in all these hours without a reason. It lays out the practical payoff for completing the worlds and side content it covers:
- You’ll get lots of XP — More XP helps level Shepard up, which in turn grants access to additional Talent Points and stronger gear for Shepard and their squad. That makes the important Mission Worlds easier. The guide notes that, aside from a few Mercenaries and three Geth varieties, you’ve already fought every enemy type in the game, and they don’t suddenly become more difficult later.
- You’ll get lots of Morality Points — The Side Quests available in these locations create more chances to earn Morality Points. That lets you purchase additional Charm or Intimidate Points, which can be used to pass Persuasion Checks in the main Mission Worlds. In particular, the Feros storyline requires having all 12 Charm or Intimidate Points bought beforehand, and the guide emphasizes that this isn’t feasible if you rush in too early.
- You’ll get lots of Credits — You can spend Credits on improved equipment. Once you hit 1 million Credits, you unlock Level VII Spectre Master Gear Weapons at the Normandy’s Requisitions Officer and also at the C-Sec Requisitions Officer on the Citadel. The Master Gear Weapons are described as among the best in the game, with top-tier damage, accuracy, and heat efficiency.
- You’ll get lots of Weapons, Ammo Mods and Armor — Many of the UNC worlds include buildings and mines you can enter to grab loot objects such as Storage Containers, Technician Kits, and similar items. The guide expects you to collect a large amount of new Weapons, Ammo Mods, and Armor for Shepard and squadmates. Anything you don’t want can be sold for Credits or broken down into Omni-gel.
