Deltarune July 2026 Update Hits v0.0.247 With Bugfixes galore
Deltarune received yet another update on July 9, bringing the game to version 0.0.247. The update includes roughly two dozen adjustments, with the majority focused on ironing out bugs across the game.
Out of the 24 entries in the latest Deltarune patch notes, 17 fall under general gameplay changes. Version 0.0.247 aims to prevent possible softlocks, reduce crash risks, address combat inconsistencies, and clean up both visual and user interface problems. It also tackles issues tied to items, timing, and progression, while correcting memory-related concerns that vary by platform—along with additional small graphical and technical improvements.

General Game Changes
- You will no longer receive the JusticeAxe from the hole on the CastleTown cliff if you never obtained the Shadow Crystal on that save slot in Chapter 4.
- Bullets from an aqua miniboss can no longer be “grazed” in a way that accidentally extends the duration of its attacks.
- Fixed a problem where the bread-smashing time attack wouldn’t correctly show the number 0.
- Fixed an issue where an armor that is intended to increase the number of invincibility frames wouldn’t function properly against the chapter boss.
- Resolved multiple memory leaks, which were reportedly contributing to random crashes on PlayStation 4.
- Fixed a softlock that could occur if you clip through the floor after clearing certain platforming encounters.
- Fixed a softlock related to using Rude Buster during the first phase of the platforming battle before the chapter boss.
- Corrected an error where scissors would stop dealing damage after an event.
- Fixed a case where the SOUL could remain visually inside the birdcage if Chapter 1’s first scene was skipped in a specific way.
- Addressed several situations where two dialogue boxes could overlap, or where you could move around while the menu was still open.
- Fixed train blueprints hovering in the air, plus various other small graphical issues.
- Various other minor fixes.
Dialogue and Other Text Changes
- The shop in the Cliffs now has new dialogue for an extremely obscure situation.
