The official site for the upcoming TV anime The Seven Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom has released its first trailer, a new promotional illustration, details on the main cast, and a premiere date of October 3. The series adapts Nao Iwamoto’s manga Gold Kingdom and Water Kingdom, bringing its story of diplomacy, strange innate abilities, and a shared mission to the small screen.

A kingdom of eight nations—and one peaceful realm under pressure

Set on a continent made up of eight nations, the story centers on the peaceful Marronnier Kingdom. Its ruler, the charismatic general Baribara, has seven sons, and each of them is not only a capable knight, but also carries a peculiar innate trait—everything from an inability to sleep to expertise in training beasts, alongside personalities that can be wildly different from one another.

Despite their quirks, the seven brothers are united by a single purpose: to heroically save a beautiful princess. To build alliances and keep the wider continent stable, they are dispatched as diplomatic envoys to the seven neighboring kingdoms—setting each brother on a path filled with political danger, adventure, and, as the story frames it, the chance to meet the partner meant for them.
