Palworld 1.0 Release

Version 1.0 Details

In an update video, the developers described the upcoming 1.0 release as a major milestone, bringing a massive amount of content. As you’d expect for a full release, Pocketpair is aiming to make sure Version 1.0 is packed with new sights, new objectives, and new reasons to keep exploring now that the game is no longer in Early Access.

New Pals

With a change this big, several new Pals are planned to arrive alongside Version 1.0. Pocketpair hasn’t provided official names or specific skills for every new creature yet, but players can expect a range of designs across different elemental types.

New Gear and Weapons

To support both fighting and getting around quickly, Version 1.0 will add new armor, gear, and weapon options. One highlighted item is a Wing Pack, designed to give you much more freedom when moving vertically—without taking up a Pal slot, unlike earlier glider-style solutions or mounted flight systems.

Revamped Story Content

Pocketpair also says the update will include fresh story-focused content. New portions of Palpagos will be available to explore, including multiple missions driven by narrative, intended to help you dig deeper into the locations you’ll be visiting.

New Regions

Speaking of exploration, the World Tree is set to arrive as part of the Version 1.0 launch. The tree itself—and the surrounding area—have been built to make Palpagos feel bigger and more lively. Alongside that debut, existing regions are also getting a set of meaningful updates and improvements.

Tower Boss Overhaul

Tower Boss battles are getting a substantial rework with Version 1.0, with Pocketpair aiming for them to feel more dynamic and engaging. That includes the possibility of facing entirely new bosses, while returning favorites should also see new moves and attack patterns, plus added environmental interactions during fights.

One boss shown off in a teaser is Auri, who can be encountered high above Palpagos on one of the many floating islands.

Wildlife Sanctuary Updates

Wildlife Sanctuaries are also being expanded and reworked. The goal is for each sanctuary to feel meaningfully distinct from the others. With Version 1.0, every location will feature its own unique landscapes to explore, plus specific materials, Pal types, and bosses that you’ll need to track down.

Additional Content & Updates

Pocketpair has also teased the following additions tied to the Version 1.0 launch:

  • New base structures, furniture, building components, and offshore building
  • Updated raid mechanics
  • Much more!
