Mass Effect 3 Omega: Assist the Hacker Guide—Terminals, Steps, Completion
A Mass Effect 3 Omega DLC side quest has a simple premise but a very specific route: “Omega: Assist the Hacker.” Here’s how to start it, where the relevant terminals are located, and what you need to do to complete the job safely.

Meet the Hacker
- Location: Omega Nebula – Sahrabarik – Omega – Aria’s Bunker
To begin “Omega: Assist the Hacker,” you need to finish the initial mission “The Invasion of Omega.” After that sequence, you’ll find yourself in Aria’s Bunker.
Go to the main bunker control room and use the central hologram table as your orientation point. From there, check the terminals positioned to the right of the hologram table. You’ll see a woman working at a holographic keyboard.
Speak with her to learn you can assist her progress by activating Cerberus Terminals during your travels. This is how you’ll obtain this Side Mission—just be aware it doesn’t hand out anything beyond 60 XP for each Terminal you activate.
Assist the Hacker
You can start moving this Side Mission forward early during the Talon Territory level. After the cutscene where Shepard and Aria scale the ladder, you’ll transition into the ventilation system.
In the vents, turn right, jump across the gap, and climb the ladder on the other side.
Once you’re up, turn right to enter a control room. Inside are two terminals, and the one that matters for the Hacker is the Terminal closest to the point where you enter.
The second required terminal is reached after you briefly step outside, then return inside. You’ll then fight your first Cerberus forces of the level in a control room featuring a large window on the right side.
After you clear the enemies, stand facing the window and check the bottom-right corner of it to find the Terminal.
The third terminal is extremely close to the second. Continue forward into a hallway containing an Assault Trooper, with a Combat Engineer waiting in a side-room to your right.
After dealing with them, proceed to the end of the hallway and enter the second side-room. This room includes a round hologram table. In the back-left corner, you’ll find an Injured Talon slumped beside the third Terminal.
That completes the objective.
