Find the Banner
- Prerequisite: Finish “Priority: Citadel 1”
- Location: Apien Crest – Castellus – Digeris
This side mission becomes available after completing “Priority: The Citadel 1.” It’s a bit unusual because you gain access to the quest object before you meet the person who will ultimately receive the item. To begin, travel to the Apien Crest—this refers to the cluster situated near the southwestern edge of the Milky Way. If you’re aiming to grab the quest item as early as possible, you’ll see it labeled with a “Rescue Turian Primarch” indicator.
From there, head to the Castellus system by flying “west-northwest.” The trip uses roughly 200 fuel. (Yes, space doesn’t work like a map with cardinal directions, but since movement here is effectively handled on a 2D plane, the explanation sticks with a more intuitive phrasing.)
Once you land, go to Digeris, which is the third planet in the Castellus system. Use Scan to verify that something is present, then enter orbit and start a planetary scan. Use the white marker shown in your reticle to pinpoint the white location that marks the artifact’s position. Launch a Probe there, and you’ll recover the Banner.
Deliver the Banner
- Prerequisite: Finish “Priority: Palaven”
- Location: Serpent Nebula – Widow – Citadel – Purgatory
Even if you acquire the Banner quickly, delivery takes some waiting. The recipient is located in Purgatory on the Citadel, and that area doesn’t become accessible until you complete the next main story mission, “Priority: Palaven”.
When you arrive, make your way to the closest elevator and ride up to Purgatory. Enter the nightclub, climb the first set of stairs, then head to the bar positioned all the way on the left. Turn right and descend the stairs to find a group of three Turians—one of them is discussing the Banner of the First Regiment. Speak with him to hand over the Banner and collect your rewards.
