The 37-year-old Brazilian returns to a club he represented between 2015 and 2017, adding an experienced option behind current first-choice Guglielmo Vicario.

The decision to recruit Neto followed confirmation that Grabara will miss the remainder of the campaign after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee. Juventus required another senior goalkeeper rather than relying exclusively on younger members of the squad during the decisive period of the Serie A season.

His return gives the coaching staff a goalkeeper with significant experience of high-pressure club football. Should Vicario become unavailable, Juventus now have a proven senior alternative for the remainder of the season.
