How to Start the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist: Requirements & Prep
GTA Online’s latest (and potentially last) major job is here: the Kortz Center Heist. Before you start planning a high-end art gallery robbery and making off with a trove of expensive paintings, you’ll need to handle the entry requirements and the prep setup first. The good news is that getting started is straightforward—you just need to own an Art Studio to begin the Kortz Center Heist. The catch is cost: the Art Studio won’t come cheap, and you also need a mansion to access the renovations that make it possible.
Where to Start: Unlocking the Kortz Center Heist
As GTA Online gears up for what’s being positioned as its newest and final heist, the Kortz Center Heist, players can begin preparing inside the game using the Art Collector Program. To actually unlock the heist, your first step is purchasing the right property setup.
To unlock the Kortz Center Heist, you must buy a Mansion and the Art Studio room that becomes available through the mansion renovation options. This is an expensive commitment, with the following pricing:
- Cheapest mansion: $11,500,000
- Art Studio cost: $4,700,000
- If you’re starting from nothing: total comes to $16,200,000
Buying and Renovating: Getting Your Art Studio
If you already own a mansion, you can move on to the setup right away. Open your in-game phone, go to Eyefind, then choose Prix Luxury Real Estate. From there, select your mansion and hit “Renovate”.
Once the renovation options are active, look for the Art Studio under “Additional Rooms”. Buy it when it’s available, then return to your mansion to continue the process from inside.
Entering the Art Studio and Beginning Prep
You’ll find the Art Studio on Basement Level 2. When you step into the Art Studio, you’ll trigger a cutscene featuring Raf and Fabian.
After the cutscene ends, the next step is to register as a Boss so you can access the Planning Board located in the Art Studio. From there, you can begin scouting and mapping out the Kortz Center.
