How to Start and Complete Closing Night Quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
“Closing Night” is the last Quest tied to Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s City Town landmark, the Sashimi Spire. To start it, you’ll need the Spire fully upgraded and you must have finished every earlier Quest in the chain, all the way through “Delving Deeper.” One important note: the Spire’s final upgrade asks you to redo the six previous orders, meaning you’ll be gathering a complete set of those same food requests again.
Quick facts: Sashimi Spire “Closing Night” checklist
- Quest name: “Closing Night”
- Requirements: fully upgrade the Sashimi Spire and complete all earlier Quests up through “Delving Deeper.”
- Final upgrade repeats six prior orders: Any Mochi x 30, Any Dango x 10, Any Sando x 20, Any Onigiri x 20, Any Boba Tea x 40, Any Nigiri x 80, Any Sushi Roll x 20

- Companion recommendation: set Usahana while crafting so she can double output
- Quest start: talk to Kirimi-chan, who waits on top of the Spire
All of the repeated ingredients can be made at the Imagination Cafe using the Chef’s Station. Before you begin, it’s strongly recommended that you set Usahana as your companion, because she can double how much food you produce—huge for a repeat-collection task like this.
When the Sashimi Spire is ready at its final level, you can begin “Closing Night” by speaking with Kirimi-chan, who is positioned on top of the Spire.

Once everything is cooked, gift the food to Kirimi-chan.
Invite Party Guests
Next, Kirimi-chan wants you to invite everyone to the party she’s chosen to hold at the Theater in City Town. Track down and talk to the following characters:
- Chococat: by his tent at the Resort Gate or in the alleyway near the fog
- Tuxedosam: at his store in the Seaside Resort or his Emporium in City Town (Hello Kitty will join you when you talk to Tuxedosam)
- Badtz-Maru: in his Arcade in City Town or his Comic Stand on the Seaside Resort Docks
- Kuromi: in the Potion Hut or her Boutique in City Town
- Keroppi: in Spooky Swamp or in his Orchard in City Town (Wish me mell will join when you talk to Keroppi)
- Pekkle: by his Music Shop in City Town or the Dance Hall in Gemstone Mountain (Hangyodon and My Sweet Piano will join when you talk to Pekkle)
After you’ve spoken with everyone on the invitation list, you still need to find and talk to Usahana. She’ll be either in the City Center or close to the Rainbow Tower. Even though she agrees to come, she’s clearly preoccupied and carrying a lot on her mind.
Attend The Party
With Usahana handled, enter the City Town Theater and speak to Kirimi-chan to start the party. Once you’re inside, you’ll need to mingle by talking to the guests who are all gathered in the Theater:
- Usahana
- Hello Kitty and Chococat: they talk together, and count as a single conversation
- Hangyodon, My Sweet Piano, and Pekkle: count as one conversation
- Badtz-Maru
During the conversation with Hello Kitty and Chococat, they’ll keep brainstorming about the Dream Fragments in City Town and what might be waiting beyond the Fog.
After you’ve spoken with everyone listed above, talk to Usahana again. She’s thrilled about making so many friends and about all the new facilities opening up in City Town, but her moment of reminiscing gets cut short when the fog creeps into the Theater. Chococat also realizes that the mystery surrounding the imaginary technology powering City Town isn’t solved—and that the Sashimi Spire isn’t the thing responsible for it.
If you want, you can speak to any additional characters who are still at the party to hear their thoughts on what’s happening—especially once the fog shows up. When you’re ready to wrap up the Quest, talk to Kirimi-chan to finish.
