Look For Inspiration In City Town

Start by talking to Tuxedosam—he’ll most likely be hanging around in his Shop. He explains that he wants to create more City Town-themed clothing, but he’s running short on inspiration.

Next, head to the Seaside Resort Beach and meet up with Usahana. Usahana tells Tuxedosam that City Town has plenty of inspiration, and encourages him to go explore it.

Check Out The Rainbow Tower

Find Tuxedosam outside the Rainbow Tower, located on the left side of City Town. Talk to both Tuxedosam and Usahana there. The Rainbow Tower’s design is a big hit with Tuxedosam, but it still doesn’t spark the idea he needs.

Run a Challenge Course in City Town

Usahana suggests a different approach: Tuxedosam might get ideas by doing something out of character—something like running a Challenge Course. Tuxedosam agrees, though he’d rather do it alongside you.

Successfully complete any Challenge Course in City Town. If you want more detail, you can refer to the game’s full “Challenges and Mini-Games” guide. Any course you run will count, but one of the easiest options is Road Running, which sits next to the Imagination Cafe. It’s also fairly short and takes place fully on the ground. If you’re struggling to finish, you can either set Pochacco as your companion or use a Speedy Walking Potion to move faster.

Once the Challenge Course is done, talk to Usahana. During the conversation, Tuxedosam suddenly has inspiration and heads off on his own. Usahana then asks you to check in on him since he’s putting in the work.

Get A New Outfit From Tuxedosam

Go to Tuxedosam’s Shop and speak with him there. He asks for Fabric x 5 because he doesn’t have enough material to complete his new project. You can craft Fabric at any Crafting Table using the following materials:

  • Thread x 3 — Tuxedosam’s return gift
  • Coconut x 5 — found on the beaches of the Seaside Resort, Spooky Swamp, or Gemstone Mountain
  • Lotus Blossom x 7 — found in ponds in the Seaside Resort or Spooky Swamp

With everything handled, Tuxedosam reveals that he’s extremely inspired and plans to throw a City Town-themed fashion show. As the quest wraps up, he gives you new outfits to add to your wardrobe.
