Dixit Signature Pre-Orders Open: Villains and Adventure & Mystery Arrive Oct 9

Rebel.pl has opened pre-orders for two new expansions in the Dixit Signature line, bringing fresh artwork and new card packs to the popular association game. The add-ons—Dixit: Signature – Villains and Dixit: Signature – Adventure & Mystery—will be available starting October 9, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 44.95 PLN per package.

Two new Dixit Signature card packs

Both products expand core gameplay with additional decks that rely on the same core mechanic: players create associations, others try to match them to the correct illustrated card. Each expansion requires a copy of the base game to play.

• Dixit: Signature – Adventure & Mystery (Tajemnicze przygody): A 21-card set focused on memorable journeys, secrets, and discoveries. The expansion’s artwork is credited to illustrator John Stone.
• Dixit: Signature – Villains (Złoczyńcy): A 21-card set centered on famous villains, cursed queens, and masters of intrigue. The illustrations are by James Rey Sanchez.

How Dixit is played

Dixit was designed by Jean Louis Roubira, a doctor based in Poitiers who worked with young patients experiencing challenges both at school and beyond. The game’s creator observed improvements in how participants formulated statements and interacted with others, and the title has also been used as an educational and therapeutic tool.

In a typical round, one player becomes the “storyteller” (bajarz). They select one image out of their hand of six and create an association for it—ranging from a single word, to a sound, a quote, or even a song. The remaining players then choose the card from their own hands that they believe best matches that prompt. The storyteller’s selected card is shuffled into the set of choices and placed face-up on the table.

After that, everyone votes in secret on which card they think belongs to the storyteller. The storyteller earns no points if the association is judged to be too unclear (no one guesses correctly) or too obvious (everyone guesses it). In those cases, the other players receive the points instead. Otherwise, points are awarded to the storyteller and to players who correctly identify the storyteller’s card. Additional bonus points are also granted for each vote cast by other players toward the storyteller’s chosen card.
