Disney Dreamlight Valley Chapter 3 Guide: Honeyglow Woods Mystery Paths

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Honeyglow Woods continues to nudge Winnie the Pooh deeper into a mystery. After the events of “Chapter 2: About Thought, Fog, and Light,” Pooh can’t seem to locate his house, and then the woods start raining. “Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear” is the next Quest, and it sends you out on a wet, puddle-filled detour while Pooh tries to work out where Piglet and Eeyore have gone.

Quick facts

  • You begin the Quest by talking to Winnie the Pooh in his Thoughtful Spot.
  • To reach the Thoughtful Spot, use the path across the river in the bottom-right corner of Drowsybloom Acre.
  • Pooh hands you Yellow Rain Boots, which you equip through the Wardrobe menu.
  • You must splash through six puddles by running through each one.
  • After the sixth puddle, you pick up a Doorbell outside Pooh’s House.
  • Use your Royal Watering Can to light the honey lamp in front of the house to clear the fog.
  • Place the Doorbell in the slot, go inside, and then remove three Honey Swirls.
  • Removing a Honey Swirl awards a Box of Colorful Crayons, which Pooh uses as a prompt to draw together.

Checklists

At the end of “Chapter 2: About Thought, Fog, and Light,” Pooh realizes he can’t find his house, and the weather turns ugly in Honeyglow Woods. With “Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear,” you’re brought into another day of wandering—this time in the rain—with Pooh as he keeps searching for clues about where Piglet and Eeyore went.

Splash In Puddles With Pooh

Start the Quest by speaking to Winnie the Pooh. He’s waiting in his Thoughtful Spot, which you can access by taking the path across the river located in the bottom right corner of Drowsybloom Acre.

When you chat, Pooh points out that it’s raining and suggests you splash around together. He rewards you with Yellow Rain Boots, and you’ll need to put them on through the Wardrobe menu before moving on.

Once the Boots are equipped, follow Pooh back to the main area of Drowsybloom Acre. Your goal is to splash through six puddles, and the game makes it simple: just run through each puddle to trigger the splash.

The route is manageable because Pooh will frequently pause, giving you time to catch up. He tends to stand near the puddle you’re meant to hit next, so keep an eye on his position as you move.

To make sure you don’t miss anything, here’s the puddle order you’ll follow:

  • Cross the river using the stepping stones that lead from the Thoughtful Spot into Drowsybloom Acre. Your first puddle will be directly in front of you.
  • After that, turn left and pass the large honey tree with the tree on your right side. The second puddle sits to the left of the tree.
  • Right after the honey tree, turn right. Travel toward the Cooking Station—heading for the north edge of Drowsybloom Acre—to find the third puddle.
  • Keep going in the same direction toward the Cooking Station. The fourth puddle will be right in front of you.
  • After the fourth puddle, turn left. Head toward the cluster of streetlamps, where the fifth puddle is just before you reach those lamps.
  • Once you clear the fifth puddle, turn right and follow a diagonal path toward the large Honey Blossom Topiary. The sixth puddle is behind the topiary, sitting next to the wall of fog currently blocking access to Pooh’s House.

As you travel, you can also use the general route shown on the map referenced in the Quest flow.

Free Pooh’s House From The Fog

After you splash through the sixth puddle, a sparkling object will show up on the ground in front of Pooh’s House. Pick it up—it’s a Doorbell.

Next, show the Doorbell to Pooh. He quickly connects the dots, realizing it matches the doorbell to his own home, which means his house is nearby.

Now use your Royal Watering Can to light the honey lamp outside Pooh’s House. The lamp is a little to the right of where Pooh is standing. Once it’s lit, the fog clears and you’ll be able to access the house again.

With the fog gone, interact with the door of Pooh’s House and place the Doorbell into the slot. Then, head inside.

Inside, talk to Pooh. He’s relieved to be back in his house, but he still can’t remember what happened to his friends. He thinks something like a Woozle could be involved, though the Quest tone makes it feel like Woozles aren’t actually the cause here.

Tidy up the house

To wrap up the cleanup, remove the Honey Swirls inside Pooh’s House. You just walk up to each one and select “Remove.” In total, there are three Honey Swirls you need to get rid of.

When you remove one of the Honey Swirls, you’ll receive a Box of Colorful Crayons. Show it to Pooh, and he’s excited about the chance to draw together. He asks what you want to draw, and you can pick any option—there’s no wrong answer.

The Quest ends with Pooh officially joining the Valley as a Villager. From here, you can keep going with the Honeyglow Woods Story Quests, or you can level up Pooh’s Friendship and deepen your bond through his Friendship Quests.
