Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has finally been unveiled, and it comes with a quick peek at a new gang that looks poised to hit players right in the feelings. So far, four fresh characters have been officially revealed, each with accompanying artwork and a short character bio. Still, one major fifth member remains a mystery—at least publicly—prompting plenty of speculation about who (or what) they might be.
That uncertainty may not last long. Fans report that they’ve already identified the hidden slot thanks to a datamine pulled from the Edgerunners 2 website. The rumor making the rounds is that the fifth gang member is named Avida, and that she’s closely tied to at least two of the other characters introduced so far.

Some players say the information surfaced through digging around the site’s data. If you visit the page normally, you’ll only see that a hidden fifth character exists. But if the shared datamined bio is correct, the identity may already be effectively spoiled.
In the bio circulating online, the concealed character is described as follows: “Once a jazz singer and corpo insider—and Weak’s old flame—Avida has rebuilt her life as the wife of a Kang Tao executive. Her life now revolves around her delicate daughter, Talia.”
With that description, Avida appears linked to two other crew members: Talia and Weak. A common question from fans is whether Talia is actually Weak’s daughter. However, based on what’s currently written in the bio, it seems more likely that Talia’s other parent is the unnamed Kang Tao executive—especially given Talia’s Corpo background. That said, there’s still wiggle room: the executive could have raised Talia, while Weak may be her biological father.
For context, Talia’s own character bio reads: “Raised in corpo towers but hardened in Maelstrom’s grip, Talia is fiercely independent and steeped in the gang’s hyper-violent, chrome-obsessed culture.”
The datamine doesn’t include a clear visual for Avida, but fans speculate she may have been one of the unnamed figures shown in the teaser trailer. Regardless, this is still speculation until the character is fully revealed—right now, Avida remains hidden on the official website.
