Cult of the Lamb Collector’s Edition Announced for 2027, Preorders Start Now

Cult of the Lamb is getting a new run of physical fanfare: developer Massive Monster has announced a Collector’s Edition planned for 2027, with pre-orders opening now for certain regions. The indie hit originally launched in 2022 and has already expanded through major updates like the Woolhaven DLC and the Deluxe Edition, and this new package is positioned as the next “definitive” step for collectors.

Cult of the Lamb Collector’s Edition Unveiled

  • Pre-order Cult of the Lamb Collector’s Edition for PS5 on Amazon UK
  • Pre-order Cult of the Lamb Collector’s Edition for Nintendo Switch on Amazon UK

On July 10, Massive Monster detailed a special Collector’s Edition that will include physical media for both the PS5 and Nintendo Switch editions. Pre-orders are live on Amazon UK, where the bundle is listed at £129.99 (equivalent shown as $174.59). The company’s announcement also sets a release date of March 12, 2027.

The package is described as a bundle that brings together the newly released definitive version of Cult of the Lamb, the Woolhaven DLC, and additional extras, with everything “fully available on the cartridge and disc.”

Everything Included in the Cult of the Lamb Collector’s Edition

  • The physical PS5 disc or Nintendo Switch cartridge for Cult of the Lamb: Definitive Edition (based on the platform you buy)
  • 44 tarot cards (Oracle Deck) and a guide/manual for reading them
  • Hardcover Cult of the Lamb artbook with more than 200 pages
  • Vinyl records for “Praise the Lamb” and “Start a Cult”
  • Double-sided ICONART metal poster (A4)
  • The Pilgrim comic book (112 pages)
  • Steelbook case

There’s also a personal note tied to the music: Cult of the Lamb composer River Boy died in 2025. In the Collector’s Edition reveal, Massive Monster said the newly released vinyl is “dedicated to our beloved friend River Boy.”

Massive Monster says pre-orders will expand to more regions soon, including the US and Japan. The studio also confirmed that several parts of the bundle won’t be locked to the set—items like the Oracle Deck tarot card collection, The Pilgrim comic, and the definitive edition of the base game will be sold separately. As for the outer box that’s meant to hold everything together, Massive Monster indicated it’s still being worked on and will be shown later.

Before this Collector’s Edition, Cult of the Lamb launched a Deluxe Edition that included physical versions of the base game for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, plus various collectibles such as an artbook and a physical soundtrack disc, all packed in a tuck-in box.

While this new Collector’s Edition is positioned as a bigger, more premium offering, it may also be among the final chances for players to buy a physical PS5 edition. That’s because PlayStation plans to discontinue physical discs starting in 2028. Massive Monster and other studios with releases before that cutoff may still be able to request reprints from Sony, but it’s not yet clear whether they will pursue that option.
