College Football 27 Guide: Create Your Own Team and Stadium
With all the licensing agreements in place, College Football 27 already makes it easy to choose a favorite program and push them all the way to a national title. Still, every real-world city or state doesn’t have a team of its own—and sometimes that’s exactly when creativity kicks in. If you want to go beyond the roster and build and design your own squad, complete with a logo and uniforms, the game’s Team Builder is built for that.
The Team Builder tool focuses on letting you construct your ideal stadium from the ground up. Its first pass of stadium customization is packed with options, and it’s designed to give you enough control to create something that feels personal. Below, you’ll find a practical walkthrough of what the tool lets you do.
One notable shift for College Football 27 is that microtransactions have made their way into modes that used to be strictly single-player. Here’s what they are and what they cost.

You can build your custom team and stadium through the official Team Builder website, whether you’re using a phone or a computer. To get started, open the link provided for the tool, then confirm you’re signed into the correct EA account tied to your College Football 27 data. After that, hit the Create option.
You’ll begin on the Brand tab, the section where you define the basics: the team name, logo, color palette, and other elements that help establish your identity. Team Builder also pulls in Adobe Express for logo work, and it’s important to know that the system uses generative AI to produce custom logos.
If you choose to use the AI logo generator, you’ll enter a prompt and the tool creates an image from it. The generator isn’t meant for inappropriate requests, and it also doesn’t have the same level of capability as higher-end workflows for producing top-tier results.
After branding comes the uniform customizer. You can edit the helmet, jersey, pants, and socks, and the setup uses a layer system so you can stack multiple designs and logos onto each uniform component. That same layering approach also lets you add and adjust colors across the different pieces.
Next is the Stadium & Field option, which is the new home for stadium customization. Through it, you can change the stadium’s background view, configure goal posts and end walls, alter crowd patterns, and manage audio events. You can also tweak grass style, end zones, stadium numbers, sidelines, and even the benches.
Inside the crowd tools, you can set trigger conditions for each crowd pattern. For example, if you want the stands to behave differently during a Rivalry matchup versus a Top 10 matchup, you can configure the triggers to act like conditional logic—essentially “if” rules—based on what kind of game it is.
The audio side is also built with depth. The tool provides multiple sound cues, and you can combine them inside the audio editor to craft audio events that will play during key moments such as a touchdown or a field goal.
How to Share or Download a Custom Team or Stadium in College Football 27
Before anything else, save your work when you’re finished. Then, in the Team Builder interface, click the Submit button. That submission produces your custom team and stadium and pushes them to the EA servers automatically.
Now you’ll need to load the game and go to the main menu. Choose Create & Share, then open the Download Center and switch over to the My Shares tab. If your upload went through successfully, your creation should appear there—select it and download it.
If you want to use your custom team in Dynasty or Road to Glory, start a new career. In the Setup tab, select Import Team Builder. From the list, pick an existing team to replace, then swap it with your custom version. Continue through the tabs until it’s time to choose teams to play, and make sure to select your custom team. You can also set it up as an opponent, but note that it will remain within the same conference as the team you removed.
