What the gamescom 2026 REDstreams contest is awarding
The competition rules specify rewards for ten winners. The prize set includes two items:
- A cloth tote bag featuring artwork for the expansion
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion titled “Songs of the Past”
The rules provide an estimated combined market value for the bundle of about 40 euros (around 170 PLN).
Why 40 euros points to a likely expansion price
Because the tote bag is expected to be relatively low in value compared to the game content, the rules’ total estimate can be used to triangulate what the expansion itself may cost at launch. Based on that logic, the expansion would likely land in the approximate range of 29.99 to 34.99 euros on release.
Release timing and platforms to watch
The expansion “Songs of the Past” is scheduled to arrive in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Before that, The Witcher 3 is also set to receive a remaster on September 29 of this year.
