How to Start Imagine My Surprise

Once you’ve cleared Marooned, you’ll be sent back in. To begin Imagine My Surprise, return to Kingston and go to map coordinates 622, 169.

From there, head into town with Adewale, then talk to the man standing at the building located at map coordinates 622, 168. Next, move northeast to inspect the lodgings of Hornigold and Rogers in search of more information about the Princess.

You can slip inside through a hole in the wall to reach tall grass near the bell, giving you a place to conceal yourself from nearby soldiers. Use your vision and scan as many guards as possible, but the priority is to sabotage the bell first.

Call over and whistle for as many soldiers as you can into the tall grass, then assassinate them to clear the area. After that, sabotage the bell.

Move north through the cows while staying near the western wall. If guards come close, take them out on sight, using bushes for cover to maintain stealth.

Once you reach the house, climb up to the balcony on the eastern side. From there, you can listen in on the conversation between Hornigold and Rogers.

Find the Templar Meeting

Your next objective is to reach the warehouse on the east docks, at map coordinates 625, 156. The area is packed with guards because reinforcements have arrived. If you need a way out quickly, use the gap in the wall on the west side to escape and make a fast run to your target.

Explore the Docks

Approach the docks carefully—there are lots of guards in the area. A rooftop route is safer and lets you observe and tag many enemies before you commit to moving inside.

It’s also a good idea to climb to the nearby Viewpoint to synchronize it. That gives you a clearer picture of how many guards are posted around the area.

If you’d rather get into the warehouse quickly and quietly, head along the south side near the water. You can climb up onto the warehouse structure and cross over from the top.

After that, climb down on the opposite side. You’ll find a gap in the wall where you can drop into the interior—and entering will immediately trigger a cutscene.

Not long after the cutscene, guards will swarm your position. You don’t have to take them all on; you can simply run off and hide to satisfy the quest requirement.
