Assassin’s Creed Black Flag: Resynced Fast Travel Guide and Unlock Methods
As a pirate moving between islands in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, sailing from place to place can take time. Luckily, the game offers fast travel so you can skip much of the voyage. How to Fast Travel
You can’t fast travel until you finish the “This Tyro Captain” quest in Sequence 3. After completing it, you can use fast travel from the world map in several different ways.
Viewpoint Fast Travel
Eagle icons show where viewpoints are on the world map. Viewpoints that appear white haven’t been visited yet, while those that turn yellow are ready after you climb to the top and synchronize the point.
Fast travel only works from synchronized viewpoints, so it’s worth synchronizing as many as you can. That gives you more teleport points for later. To jump to a highlighted yellow viewpoint, hold Triangle/Y on a controller or Space on keyboard while it’s selected.
Named Location Fast Travel
You can also fast travel to named locations you’ve discovered during your journey—even if you never synchronized a viewpoint at that spot.
To use this option, zoom out on the world map to find and highlight the location you want, then use the same inputs listed above to fast travel. One important detail: this method always drops you at the location’s dock, so synchronizing viewpoints is still the better choice when you want more precise landing options.
Jackdaw Fast Travel
Your ship, the Jackdaw, can function as a fast travel point as well. If you highlight your ship on the world map, you can fast travel directly to it.
This is especially handy when you’re stuck out in open water, far from land, for whatever reason.
