New GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Shows Jason and Cal in Latest Unofficial Footage
Another batch of unofficial footage for GTA 6 has surfaced online, expanding what fans think they’re seeing in the game’s latest builds. The new video continues the coverage that began with an earlier leak, and this time it includes both gameplay moments and a cutscene segment featuring Jason and Cal.
The footage was uploaded by the same leaker behind the prior release. As promised, the uploader posted additional material, giving viewers more context for how Jason navigates the city and handles confrontations. The video also stands out because it contains a cutscene portion, not just in-engine action, which suggests the leak may draw from a newer stage of development than the clips that appeared the day before.
One of the more intriguing clues comes from the music used during an opening drive sequence. While Jason travels through the streets at night, “Sports Car” by Tate McRae plays over the radio. Internet users pointed out that the track was released in January 2025, implying that the build shown could have been produced after the song’s debut. While that doesn’t conclusively prove the exact age of the footage—songs could theoretically be added to an older build—it’s still a meaningful indicator that the materials may be relatively recent.
Beyond the soundtrack, the gameplay highlights several mechanics that could shape how vehicle theft and combat work in GTA 6. In an industrial area, Jason reaches a car and the game presents two possible actions: breaking the window or cloning a key. The key-cloning option appears unavailable in the moment shown, which could indicate that it requires specific equipment, skills, or prior preparation before it can be used.
The clip also shows Jason using violence in more than one way during an encounter with security personnel. Viewers can see Jason disarm an opponent, take their taser, and then use that taser against additional enemies. Directional indicators appear on-screen during the fight, showing where threats are coming from. At one point, the footage includes a particularly brutal finish presented in slow motion, emphasizing how the game handles takedowns.
There’s also a smaller but telling detail about interactions with objects left behind by NPCs. Jason picks up an item—a hat located on the ground—and then puts it on, demonstrating that at least some lootable clothing or accessories may be part of the experience.
After the video transitions to a heavier vehicle, the interface appears to introduce two status indicators at once: one that looks tied to the truck’s condition and another that resembles a fuel gauge. This aligns with earlier leak rumors that suggested fuel-related UI could exist in GTA 6, including an icon resembling a fuel indicator that showed up in previous material.
Even with those hints, the new footage shouldn’t be treated as a guarantee that fuel management will reach the final game. Since these clips come from development builds, Rockstar could still be testing systems that might later be altered, toned down, or removed entirely.
On top of gameplay, the leak also includes part of a cutscene involving Jason and Cal. Cal has already been visible in an official trailer, but this leaked segment contains dialogue that includes a joke about using a VPN. Some viewers interpreted the timing and inclusion of that line as a playful nod to the circumstances of the leak itself.
Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed that the video is authentic. However, reports circulating online claim the company has started taking steps to remove leaks from the internet, which—if accurate—could point toward the material being real.
With official releases still on the horizon, the next major wave of GTA 6 coverage is scheduled soon. “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look” debuts on Netflix on August 27, and roughly six hours later the presentation is set to arrive on YouTube and on Rockstar’s website.
